The third book in this humorous and offbeat fantasy series, where magic is rarely perfect, heroes are rarely honorable, and you just might wake up in a body that's not your own… It has been a year since former thief Frank Blackthorne became Princess of Lendowyn and married a dragon. He's coming to terms with his new life, but during the royal anniversary banquet, an elven prince reads a scroll of evil magic and Frank's world is turned upside-down. Again. The scroll's spell causes a murderous rampage in a palace full of noble dignitaries, so it's no surprise Frank's visitors are angry. The Elf-King Timoras threatens war but Frank can't do anything about it: because of the same bit of scroll magic, the ex-Dragon Lucille has taken over the princess's body, unaware that Frank is still there, locked in her skull. And worst of all, the fate of everyone may soon rest on the shoulders of the man responsible for the whole mess, someone who should be safely dead...

Rudy (or “Hey You” as he is usually called) is the eldest child of Willibald and Julia. Willibald is a peasant farmer on the estate of the Baron von Gruzelwitz, two days’ journey from Prague. His wife Julia attended a convent school and wants to pass on her learning to her children. Her greatest success was with “Hey You,” who reads everything. One day the baron orders Willibald and his family to leave his estate. They settle in Prague, which was then the seat of Emperor Rudolph the II. Rudolph is a patron of the arts and sciences, and a lover of magic and alchemy. Moved by the emperor, Willibald renames his eldest son “Rudolph” or “Rudy” in honor of the emperor. At 16, Rudy studies at the Prague Technical Institute of the Unnatural Sciences, where he hopes to be certified as a wizard. A bright and eager student, he is often plagued by fits of bad luck when his spells go awry. While other students manage to summon a spirit, Rudy can only summon a bad smell. Thus, he earns the nickname Rudy the Wizard of Fumbles. This imaginative story takes readers across Europe to the sites of Rudy’s many wizardly fumbles.

This Children stories book is 100 years old being published in 1916 and is now in the public domain.Being part of the Top of the World Stories for Boys and Girls it was written by Finnish author Zachris Topelius for the children of Finland and Sweden and then translated to English by Emilie and Laura Poulsson. It was initially called: THE PRINCESS LINDAGULL.It is, an Arabian Nights tale, and tells the story of Shah Nadir the might King of Persia and his much loved and beautiful daughter The Princess Arabella who, as well as beauty, had a heart noble, tender and good and there was no one in Shah Nadir's whole kingdom who did not love the Princess. The Princess is kidnapped by the evil Wizard Hirmu who took her far away to Lapland. The brave young Arab prince Abderraman made it his mission to rescue the Princess and after much searching and tribulations he found the Princess Arabella and took her back to her father. The grateful King gave the Princess's hand in marriage to the Prince and they married and lived happily ever after.I have left the story in its original version, it is as topical today as it was then, but I have edited a lot of the old style words to make them look and sound modern. I have added some new illustration to make it a much more pleasant experience to the reader and, more importantly, I have changed the name of the Princess to: PRINCESS ARABELLA and the title of the book to: The Princess Arabella, the Prince and the Wizard, an Arabian Nights Fairy Tale.

"All Frank Blackthorne wants is a little vacation from being the princess. The involuntary swap in gender has been bad enough, but being a figurehead for the Royal Court of Lendowyn is becoming downright oppressive. In a fit of drunken self-pity, Frank turns to using a cursed artifact, hoping to become a man again, if only temporarily."--Amazon.com.
