This is an inspired collection of poetry that I have received since 1983. These thoughts came to me after personal conversations with God. Journaling was a one-way conversation that evolved into a two-way relationship, which inspired this collection. Seeking answers to all the whys of the pain and shame I had experienced, I turned to God, opened my heart, and listened. Then I began writing what I heard. My heartfelt wish is that after reading this, you will see God as someone who wants a personal relationship with you.

She heard a hundred undecipherable whispers floating through the atmosphere, surrounding her in an invisible wall, but amongst the murmurs she perceived one distinct voice calling out above the rest. Though her instincts told her to release the unnatural object, she clasped it and stared up at the spectacular spiral that towered above her. The one voice graduated closer to her, growing louder and louder. Slowly, the words became distinguishable, and her ears were pricked to catch them. Lauria thinks that her life might never hold anything more for her than the occasional festival or the conflicts with her family. But one night when she sneaks out in hopes of stealing a few moments alone, a strange raindrop changes her world forever. It bursts forth into a vortex of light and sound and releases a creature of unnatural beauty and power who tells her there is a task she must complete. Far across the plains of her homeland, Austurea, a dying soldier named Jestun lies in an empty battlefield. As Lauria struggles to discern the task laid before her and make sense of the strife within her family and her own heart, Jestun searches for the answers surrounding his family's mysterious past. Meanwhile a Dark power hovers over them and their fates, their only shield the Light that is bringing their paths closer together. Whispers of Nightfall is the first book of a saga that rages across land and dimensions, questions issues of identity and destiny, and reveals the battle between Light and Darkness.

I will begin by telling you a little about the person who I am and how I came to write these pages..... Today, I own and operate a real working cattle ranch along with a Country Western Bar and Grill, Western Wear, Feed and Saddle at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. I grew up in a small farming community in rolling hills of rural Ohio. I enlisted in the Military at age 17 and was selected by the US CID to do covert operations in the North Carolina region of USACIDC. I worked as a CID Agent for 7 years and then left the CID but continued to work with special operations for an additional two years. After 10 years of working as a covert undercover officer. I decided to change direction and become and retired a North Carolina State Trooper. The following poems and short stories were inspired by true events or friends who have touched my life in some matter and have forever changed my life. It is said that friendship is clairvoyant. With a true friend words are never needed. What you enjoy doing together will come natural and such a friendship shall stand throughout the ages. I hope you find such a friendship in your life and then you savor each day and share it with that someone special in your life as you go. Whether we realize it or not, everyone we know is very special to us. When we look back on our younger years, we will remember The people who went to school with us, the people who made us laugh, the people who hung out with us when nobody else would, and the people who made our lives much better simply by being a part of it. That's the wonderful thing about friendship--you always feel loved and cared about. The most important thing to remember is to always appreciate the friends that you have.... Seek out and find the time in each day to see the Beauty and Love in the world around you....

In a town overshadowed by dark secrets, five boys from different corners of the world are brought together by a twist of fate. They find themselves trapped in a complex web woven by the enigmatic Ms. Abernathy. On the surface, she appears as a guardian angel, offering sanctuary to these orphaned and vulnerable boys under the pretense of foster care at her sprawling Montana estate. Yet this facade of benevolence conceals a sinister alliance with the powerful Mexican cartel. Together, they orchestrate a harrowing operation deeply entrenched in child trafficking. The story exposes Ms. Abernathy's cruel business. It sheds light on the rampant abuse of children across the globe, from the war-torn streets of Ukraine to the poverty-stricken alleys of Latin America. Into this grim setting emerges the Majestic Guardian, El. In the form of a magnificent black panther, El is God's earthly embodiment, intervening to champion the cause of the oppressed. His piercing blue eyes, brimming with divine wisdom, and his sleek ebony fur, which seems to echo the sorrows of countless souls, mark him as a beacon of hope and a force against evil.
