They are at war, fearing for each other, struggling with the upbringing of their children and the survival of their country. They are kings. With the future of the throne secured, Rin and Merin still have little time to rejoice for their children or the unity of their kingdoms. Stuck in the middle of a battlefield, their lives prove to be once again at risk, and Rin heads out on a long journey home with his heirs, leaving Merin to lead their army. Rin receives his rightful title of king from the Kari council and for once feels as if he belongs on the throne without Merin there to guide him. Missing his husband, he raises their children the best he can, but there's no end to the war in sight and, after months of futile conflicts, Rin thinks he sees Merin cut down in battle. Distraught and with no patience for his council, Rin threatens the Riki, making even his own men fear him. Can Rin cope alone without the love of his life and still win the war, or will his sorrow mark the end of his reign?

The publication by John Wesley of the "Foundery" Collection (1742) marked the establishment of standards for tunes suited to Methodist hymn singing. Early Methodist hymn books in the United States contained words only, but they were cross-referenced with a leader's tune book, beginning with David's Companion (1808). "With One Heart and One Voice" reviews the trends surrounding the styles of tunes selected and analyzes the changes in shape and text for the most frequently used tunes in the Methodist Episcopal Church. Seventy six "core repertory" tunes are analyzed based upon their repeated appearances in most of the tune books published between 1808 and 1878, at which point Methodists finally obtained a hymnal with both words and music, after a half century of experimentation with tune selection. The conclusions reached in this work will allow scholars, hymnologists, and hymn singers to explore the social and musicological influences on hymn tune writing, how long it took for texts to acquire a "fixed tune," how tastes in hymn tunes change ever so slowly, and how many delightful tunes found in the core repertory of the 19th century have been dropped from today's repertoire.

It is not a question that marriages today, especially in this country, are under attack. The sacred union between man and woman through the lenses of our nation has seemingly lost its value and respect amid a growing culture that has degraded its significance—this is an epidemic in its own right. Like-Minds: Two Hearts, One Mind, One God—Rediscovering the Value of Marriage is a book that attempts to act as a clarion call; to refocus man’s attention and heart back to biblical principles carried out by both husband and wife. God is the Creator of all things, including marriage. Like any creation, God has in Mind the purpose of the creation before He creates it. Minister Julien Folks passionately shares insight on helping young singles and married couples understand that God has a methodology in revealing His plan and purpose within His marriage covenant. Throughout this book, readers will identify one underlining principle: “How the marriage thinks as one in Christ propels them through every difficulty with a new perspective in God.” In his first book, Like-Minds: Two Hearts, One Mind, One God—Rediscovering the Value of Marriage, the author shares solid scriptural support, personal challenges, and experiences to outline the process and spiritual journey both husband and wife must commit to in ensuring an overall healthy, sustaining, and successful marriage. Join countless others who are rediscovering the purpose of marriage while learning practical and necessary tools to engage Two Hearts, through One Mind, in One God.

Founder and spiritual teacher A. H. Almaas continues his study of the Diamond Approach to uncovering the many facets of our human potential We live in a world of mystery, wonder, and beauty. But most of us seldom participate in this real world, being focused rather on the parts that are mostly strife, suffering, or meaninglessness. The situation is basically due to our not realizing and living our full human potential. This potential can be actualized by the realization and development of human essence. The human essence is the part of us that is innate and real, and which can participate in the real world. Comprised of transcriptions of A. H. Almaas' talks to inner-work groups in Colorado and California, The Freedom to Be is the second installment in a five-volume series on the Diamond Approach.

In a world where two kingdoms are constantly at war, Prince Rin, heir to the throne of the Kari kingdom, has been demanded as a war conquest by King Merinej of Jeda. The prince must travel to his enemy's kingdom and share the king's bed, bearing him a child, or the war will continue. But the prince will not lower himself to what he sees as nothing but the title of a whore, so he demands a contract requiring the king to be faithful to him. After all, giving Merinej a child will threaten Rin's life. Even going into the marriage headfirst, Rin expected nothing more than a business arrangement. Instead, he receives affection, yet the more surprising realization is his willingness to give love back. However, the king cannot save Rin from those who wish him harm, and their union might be over before it can fully bloom. Owner of my Heart Can King Merin face his loss, save his husband and protect his kingdom, or have his enemies finally found a way to defeat him? To make things worse, the newly united countries must prepare for a war against a vicious invading army that's using the weakened state of the kingdom for its benefit. How will Merin and Rin recover from their terrible loss and give their people heirs?
