It feels like our world is moving in new, uncertain directions and in unknown waters where you need a good anchor. In Jesus Christ, who is our Rock, we have hope as an anchor for the soul. To not be set adrift, one needs to stay connected to that anchor. I have found it is only by regular time in God's Word that it happens. We believe the promise recorded in 1 Peter 1:24-25: The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the LORD endures forever. Day by day, as we come to God's Enduring Word, He has wisdom, strength, and blessing to give us. We can weather storms and enjoy calm waters. We can grow in seasons of drought and bear a harvest for God's kingdom year-round. For 25 years I have prepared a weekly devotional. Here are 365 selected Scripture passages along with an inspirational, encouraging, and helpful thought. My prayer is that you would know and enjoy more and more of God's enduring word. In Jesus, David Guzik

If you have a love for drama, especially Christian drama, you will note that it can be ministries within a ministry. The performances can truly minister to an audience; but I believe that ministry also takes place with the cast and helpers. When we come to Christ, we are each given at least one gift, and when each member has the opportunity to utilize these gifts ministry takes place within and with out. The bible gives the best illustration of this in I Corinthians chapter twelve when it speaks of the body of Christ and each member using their gift to minister to the other members, thereby giving glory to God. Drama can open the door for many gifts to function where other ministries may not; Consider these: Carpentry- helping to build and construct props Seamstress- making costumes etc. Stage designing and setting Lighting Technicians Sound Technicians Writers When all these gifts come together it increases opportunity for fellowship and that fellowship grows and binds them together in love. And when the plays themselves are over and the curtain has closed on the fi nal scene, it is the fellowship and love that remains and we are left longing for the opportunity to come together again. This is a piece of the puzzle I see when I write a play and I cant wait to put all the other pieces in their places.

This booklet focuses on the turning of a page in God's eternal plan after Christ's Ascension. At the Ascension, the disciples were eleven men who had failed miserably. They had walked and talked with Christ and witnessed Him demonstrate the power and love of God. Christ set up the foundation for New Testament ministries, but they didn't understand most of what He had said. They couldn't stand on any of His promises when hard times had come. When they discovered, in a most awesome way after His resurrection, that everything He had said was true, they became truly melted hearts. They now knew they had been wrong; they should have listened and paid attention. This booklet centers on God's work through the apostles to set up the New Testament Church in the dawning of the Dispensation of Grace and how this new dispensation effects our lives today.

The heart of Jesus is sacred, and the lessons and examples it provides to us are paramount in our daily mission to follow in His footsteps. Max Lucado poses the question "what if, for one day and night, your heart was replaced by the heart of Christ?" That thought-provoking question leads to many personal revelations demonstrating that we can recast our hearts to be more like that of Jesus, and the blessings created by the transformation will unleash ripples to the widest edges of our lives and those around us.

The biggest barrier to faith is life itself. Divorce. Cancer. Infertility. Death. There are times in our lives in which God seems very far away. We don't understand His silence. We only feel the intensity of our pain and the echoing question of 'why?' The Bible declares that God is good, but can we still believe this when our lives are falling apart? In Keep Believing, Dr. Pritchard affirms what the Bible declares: that God is good and His mercy endures forever. This is true regardless of our moment-by-moment experience. God has provided comfort in our times of struggle and healing in our times of hurt through the balm of His Word. You believed in the light of day; will you still believe at midnight? Search the Scriptures with Dr. Pritchard for words of encouragement and hope. Put your confidence in the God who sorrowfully watched His Son suffer at Calvary for your benefit. Know that the same loving heavenly Father has everything completely under control. He is with you and longs to comfort you as you struggle through your hard times. Take a tell-tale look at your devotion to the Lord and His never-ending love and commitment to you in Keep Believing. You served God in the sunshine; will you now serve him in the shadows?

“If there were a Guinness Book of World Records entry for ‘amount of times having prayed the sinner’s prayer,’ I’m pretty sure I’d be a top contender,” says pastor and author J. D. Greear. He struggled for many years to gain an assurance of salvation and eventually learned he was not alone. “Lack of assurance” is epidemic among evangelical Christians. In Stop Asking Jesus Into Your Heart, J. D. shows that faulty ways of present- ing the gospel are a leading source of the confusion. Our presentations may not be heretical, but they are sometimes misleading. The idea of “asking Jesus into your heart” or “giving your life to Jesus” often gives false assurance to those who are not saved—and keeps those who genuinely are saved from fully embracing that reality. Greear unpacks the doctrine of assurance, showing that salvation is a posture we take to the promise of God in Christ, a posture that begins at a certain point and is maintained for the rest of our lives. He also answers the tough questions about assurance: What exactly is faith? What is repentance? Why are there so many warnings that seem to imply we can lose our salvation? Such issues are handled with respect to the theological rigors they require, but Greear never loses his pastoral sensitivity or a communication technique that makes this message teachable to a wide audience from teens to adults.
