Current mainstream theories of physics, the Standard Model of particle physics and the General Theory of Relativity, are incompatible due to the different mechanisms that they offer as explanations of fundamental energy interactions. This is considered the main problem for unifying them into a ‘theory of everything.’ Unfortunately, the problems are not limited to this issue. Both theories contain arbitrary variables and constants that do not have any physical meaning and are fitted to the results of experimental tests every time the predictions fail. Moreover, the equations lead to infinities that are hidden by mathematical tricks to adjust the solutions to reality. Many physicists consider this internal inconsistency to be a sign of the mathematical ingenuity of the models. However, the sad truth is that the descriptive and explanatory basis of the models is a muddle and the predictive power is zero. Thus, they are practically useless. On top of this, both postulate the existence of virtual entities responsible for observable physical interactions. This means that the models have become metaphysical belief systems. Some physicists dare to correctly call the situation the fall of theoretical physics as a science. To see it rise, we need an alternative path. In the second volume, the author continues to build the Theory of Energy Harmony based on the model of the universal mechanism proposed in the first part of the study. This mechanism underlies all fundamental interactions and can be called a unifying physical principle. The model does not use any virtual “ghosts” or arbitrary postulated parameters. It is self-consistent and adequate to reality. It contains only empirically verifiable assumptions and predictions. This is a paradigm shift that takes us back to physics.

Ernst Levy was a visionary Swiss pianist, composer, and teacher who developed an approach to music theory that has come to be known as "negative harmony." Levy's theories have had a wide influence, from young British performer/composer Jacob Collier to jazz musicians like Steve Coleman. His posthumous text, A Theory of Harmony, summarizes his innovative ideas. A Theory of Harmony is a highly original explanation of the harmonic language of the modern era, illuminating the approaches of diverse styles of music. By breaking through age-old conceptions, Levy was able to reorient the way we experience musical harmony. British composer/music pedagogue Paul Wilkinson has written a new introduction that offers multiple points of entry to Levy’s work to make this text more accessible for a new generation of students, performers, and theorists. He relates Levy's work to innovations in improvisation, jazz, twentieth-century classical music, and the theoretical writings of a wide range of musical mavericks, including Harry Partch, Hugo Riemann, and David Lewin. Wilkinson shows how A Theory of Harmony continues to inspire original musical expression across multiple musical genres.

Based on the Theory of Energy Harmony developed in the first two volumes of the series, this book builds bridges between physical and life sciences. It tackles fundamental questions that are considered the main riddles of biology. How do four elements of non-living matter form basic structures of living matter? What is the physical mechanism that binds them into biochemical molecules? The proposed model proceeds from the assumption that there are no special biophysical laws and the mechanism of energy interactions is universal for all types of matter. The elements that form organic compounds have characteristics that allow them to create the Music of Life using this mechanism. Starting from a detailed account of how notes of this music arise, the book takes the reader step by step into the intricacies of the complex melodies, harmonies and rhythms of living matter. This foundation brings us to the central theme of the study. Living systems have one main feature distinguishing them from inanimate things. They have an internal process that allows them to purposefully adapt to the surrounding world and sustain integrity. We call it the Mind. There is a paradox: the Mind is an obvious concept, but it remains a mystery. Everyone understands what it is about, but when it comes to explaining what it is physically and how it works, we cannot say anything definite. The absence of a physical explanation led to the idea about the immaterial nature of the Mind and, therefore, its inaccessibility for study and understanding. Even in the materialistic approach, attempts to define the Mind vanished in a fog of uncertainty. The author offers a way out of this vicious circle by giving a clear physical definition of the Mind. This bold attempt that does not leave any room for pathetic excuses about elusive intangibility allows us to take an entirely new look at the functional, physiological and technological aspects of the process, which will be revealed in subsequent parts of the study.

In psychotherapy and psychiatry, mental illness diagnostics is limited to the description of symptoms and has nothing to do with assessing the state of the organ that performs the mental functions. In other branches of medicine, any diagnosis aims to answer the question about the physical disturbance of the internal technology of the body. But the Mind remains outside of this correct approach. As a result, all systemic mental pathologies are currently incurable. This absurd situation is due to the lack of a physically grounded theoretical model of the Mind. Without it, practical treatment of the disorders remains ‘wandering in the dark.’ How can we fix something if there is no understanding of what it is and how it works? Within the Teleological Transduction Theory developed in the previous volumes of the series, harmony of the Mind is a physical concept of normal functioning. Respectively, when the pathologies are described as dissonances, it is not a metaphor but a reference to the physical malfunction leading to the disintegration of the Mind. The book proposes a new approach to the diagnosis and classification of mental pathologies, based on an assessment of the state of the physical mechanism of the Mind and violations of the technological algorithm of the brain. The goal is to create the concept as a universal tool that can be used in various pathologies. The book offers a model of systemic pathologies such as autism and schizophrenia, which reveals the essence of the physical problem that causes the observed symptoms. This could be the beginning of a project that will overcome the current chaotic state of the field of psychopathology and harmonize our diagnosis and treatment of mental illness as disorders of the brain.

Dozens of books have since been released promising similar results. Beverly Nadlers Vibrational Harmony joins the list, and despite the glut, its a welcome addition. What makes Nadlers book worthy is her clarity in explaining what might otherwise be a complex concept. Everything is energy and everything includes you, Nadler writes. Your energy field radiates into the Universe and attracts the people, things, events, situations and circumstances that your vibrations are in harmony with, and these become your life. It follows that good energy attracts positive results. Negative energy? Not so much. Comparing the brain to a computer, Nadler seamlessly leads her readers through a five-stage course of reprogramming, which includes Awareness, Identification, Releasing, Installing and Integrating. There is nothing woo-woo about Nadlers approach. She offers step-by-step instructions on how to relinquish a Material Model in which our thinking is negative and full of limits and substitute it for an Energy Model which, among other benefits, guarantees Spiritual communication and Divine intervention, as well as the ability to heal physical problems from cold symptoms to pain. Nadler might have added grist to her thesis by including case studies, which would have illustrated her concepts in action. But for those who can accept her premise without needing personal anecdotes to firm up their belief, good vibes are guaranteed. Also available as an ebook. ---------------------------------------- Reader's Testimonials Vibrational Harmony is the most explosively powerful toolbox of self-help ever written. Theres been a revolution as far-reaching as anything humanitys ever witnessed, and only the few even know its happened. It all began, she explains, with physicists who ventured into the sub-atomic world, in which they discovered solidity was the "illusion" and the real reality is conscious energy. And, being wavelike-and electrical, it operates differently than the 3 dimensional world. The classical Material Model thinking everything is hard, 3 dimensional and difficult to change was the appropriate level of evolution during our recent epoch of development. And thats why things looked that way. Vibrational Harmony leads you all the way from an introduction to this new view of the world, to embracing The Energy Model, to finally manifest the good things you want in life. Its quantum! ISBN: 0262045362

An introduction to computational modeling for cognitive neuroscientists, covering both foundational work and recent developments. Cognitive neuroscientists need sophisticated conceptual tools to make sense of their field’s proliferation of novel theories, methods, and data. Computational modeling is such a tool, enabling researchers to turn theories into precise formulations. This book offers a mathematically gentle and theoretically unified introduction to modeling cognitive processes. Theoretical exercises of varying degrees of difficulty throughout help readers develop their modeling skills. After a general introduction to cognitive modeling and optimization, the book covers models of decision making; supervised learning algorithms, including Hebbian learning, delta rule, and backpropagation; the statistical model analysis methods of model parameter estimation and model evaluation; the three recent cognitive modeling approaches of reinforcement learning, unsupervised learning, and Bayesian models; and models of social interaction. All mathematical concepts are introduced gradually, with no background in advanced topics required. Hints and solutions for exercises and a glossary follow the main text. All code in the book is Python, with the Spyder editor in the Anaconda environment. A GitHub repository with Python files enables readers to access the computer code used and start programming themselves. The book is suitable as an introduction to modeling cognitive processes for students across a range of disciplines and as a reference for researchers interested in a broad overview.
