It has pleased God to put in place governmental authority within the whole of His creation. There are realms of authority in heaven which is clearly taught in the word of God, and when God created the world He placed Adam in control of the earth even before sin. He was crowned with glory and honour and set over the works of God's hands. After the fall the Lord still required for the earth to be governed and it pleased Him to put the rule of the world into various hands until Israel were given the supreme place to hold this world for God. Because of their failure to be faithful to the Lord they were removed from power and the government of this world was placed in Gentile hands, this was under Nebuchadnezzar and is recorded for us in Daniel Chapter 2. This began the "Times of the Gentiles" The main thrust of the book of Daniel is to reveal the end of Gentile rule and this is the purpose of the book as seen in the four prophecies revealed to Daniel himself from chapters 7-12. In these tremendous revelations the Lord is unfolding the rise of the final world despot who will move in opposition to God, and under Satan will corrupt humanity as he brings men into rebellion against God. In these chapters we see the rise, the character he bears and the control he will manifest during the tribulation period. There is more said in the word of God about this coming "Man of Sin" than any other person beside Lord Jesus, and the book of Daniel takes a leading role in revealing what God says about him. As there are many who would study the prophetic truths I trust this addition to the many volumes written on the subject will prove helpful to understand the mind of God. The volume does not follow in detail all that has been written by others but it has been written after many years of careful study and I trust that those who peruse it will at least give it some careful thought. May the Lord use this to encourage others to study the subject and discern the mind of God in those things which He has revealed.

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever" (Daniel 2:44). The message of Daniel is that Jesus the Messiah is now ruling over the nations. Daniel tells us that Messiah's kingdom will advance in the whole world from "generation to generation" (Daniel 4:4,34). Christ's dominion is "given to the people of the saints of the most High" (Daniel 7:22). Our purpose then is to see "all people, nations, and languages serve and obey him" (Daniel 7:14,27). "This meticulously researched and thorough treatment of Daniel from a preterist perspective includes over 700 pages of commentary, historical background and setting, New Testament allusions, and much more. It is enhanced with charts, tables, maps, illustrations, and topped off with helpful, thorough indexes." - Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., Th.D.

The ancient Hebrew prophet Daniel lived in the fifth century BC and accurately predicted the history of the nation of Israel from 536 BC to AD 1948. He also predicted the date of the death of the Messiah to occur in AD 32, the date of the rebirth of the nation of Israel to occur in AD 1948, and the Israeli capture of the Temple Mount to take place in AD 1967! Commentary from the ancient rabbis and the first century church reveals how the messianic rabbis and the disciples of the apostles interpreted his prophecies. Daniel also indicated where the Antichrist would come from, where he would place his international headquarters, and identified the three rebel nations that will attack him during the first three-and-a-half years of the Tribulation. A one-of-a-kind, uplifting picture book about a Jewish boy and a Palestinian boy who bond on the soccer field—translated into English, Hebrew, and Arabic. Daniel and Ismail, one Jewish and the other Palestinian, don’t know each other yet, but they have more in common than they know. They live in the same city and have the same birthday, and this year they get the same presents: a traditional scarf—for Daniel a tallit and for Ismail a keffiyeh—and a soccer ball. Taking their gifts out for a spin, they meet by chance on a soccer field, and they soon begin to play together and show off the tricks they can do. They get so absorbed in the fun that they lose track of time and mix up their gifts: Daniel picks up Ismail's keffiyeh and Ismail takes Daniel's tallit. When they get home and discover their mistake, their parents are shocked and angry, asking the boys if they realize who wears those things. That night, Daniel and Ismail have nightmares about what they have seen on the news and heard from adults about the other group. But the next day, they find each other in the park and get back to what really matters: having fun and playing the game they both love. Daniel and Ismail is a remarkable multilingual picture book that confronts the very adult conflicts that kids around the world face, and shows us that different cultures, religions, societies, and languages can all share the same page.

The Book of Daniel in the Tanach (Bible) speaks of a time when the 4th kingdom, which has already come upon the earth, will be revived and arise to a place of pre-eminence over all nations. From this 4th kingdom the evil leader will come forth to rule and reign over the whole world for a short time. (Time, two times and half a time or 3 ½ years). What we now see and experience as evil and violence is but a foretaste to the time of the rule and reign of the evil leader of the 4th kingdom yet to come upon the earth. The pages within this book unveil much detail regarding world events, some of which have already occurred, others of which have been in the making for years and are about to become a full reality. Spiritual discernment and understanding of these world events and how they are being woven together by the hand of G-d are essential in order to give one a clear view of the larger picture regarding the rise and the destruction of this 4th kingdom. Before the Messiah Himself comes to destroy this 4th kingdom and its evil leader, G-d will, in His sovereignty, use this 4th kingdom to fulfill His purposes of judgment, both upon the nations and with His chosen people, the Jews. The connections between the written word of the Lord G-d and the documented course of events taking place in the world today, revealed within this book, will not leave any doubt of G-d's intentions of His heart-the redemption of His people.

In this series of messages we want to study the prophecy of the four 'sevens' in the Bible. If we are going to know the prophecy concerning the consummation of this present age, we need to know the truth concerning these four 'sevens.' In [the first] message we want to see the prophecy of the first 'seven,' which is the last seven years of this age spoken of as the last week of the seventy weeks in Daniel 9. The three other sets of 'sevens' are in the book of Revelation. They are the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. Revelation may be considered as a book of prophecy constituted with these three sets of 'sevens.' The first 'seven' in Daniel 9 is related to these three sets of 'sevens' in Revelation. The prophecy of these four 'sevens' is related to the Messiah (Christ), the nation of Israel, the New Testament believers, and the church.
