The landscape of Sheboygan County, like much of Wisconsin, was produced almost entirely by the deposition of sediment from glaciers and the rivers that flowed from them. The nature of these surface sediments greatly affects how we use the land. The nature of farming is also greatly influenced by what was left behind by the glacier.
