"You have friends in high places. There are masters who have come out of all the world’s great spiritual traditions. These great lights of East and West have graduated from earth’s schoolroom and reunited with Spirit in the process known as the ascension. The masters tell us that they are examples and not exceptions to the rule. We, too, are destined to fulfill our life’s purpose and reunite with Spirit. This intriguing work offers an innovative perspective on the universe and your role in it. In this brilliant blend of East and West, you will discover valuable keys for your own spiritual path. You’ll learn about the relationship between the ascension, nirvana and samadhi, the parallel structure of the spiritual and material universes, the difference between ascended and unascended masters, and the function of the spiritual hierarchy and the role of the masters. The Masters and the Spiritual Path also offers a unique meditation on the bliss of union with Spirit and a breathing exercise to help you balance and expand consciousness."

While doubting the omnipotence of Gadadhara and her threats, we trust the word of honest pilgrims who saw “the shadow of their departed relatives.” The earth’s atmosphere is jam-packed with the astral remains of men and women disintegrating in the limbus of the Roman Catholics (kama-loka) images of empty shells (ghosts) that are magnetically drawn to those whom they had loved on earth. The Hindu practice of Pind Daan or Shraddha is a mere superstition, and any effects thereby produced are caused unconsciously by the strong belief of the temple’s priest. The best way to help a restless ghost is to stop thinking of it, and allow nature to take its course. The body being only the covering of the soul, at its dissolution we shall discover all the secrets of nature, and darkness shall be dispelled, says Seneca. No man or priest can impede the immutable law of nature (karma), especially after the death of the person that evolved it. The departed should be left alone to rest in peace, in the bosom of the earth. It is the cunning Brahmans who need the Pind Daan more than the Asuras, and the greedy Christian clergy who exploit the credulity of their pious laity by extorting money from the bereaved in useless ceremonies and prayers upon the dead.

Wm. Oxley is an ardent Spiritualist equipped with a wily tongue, and habitually swayed by deceitful visions in his boots. A.D. Bathell is another calumniator and manqué philosopher, yet a useful purgative of the Theosophical Society. Wm. Oxley attributes the authorship of the Mahabharata to a “Spirit” named Busiris. By adjusting the force of its two-faced blowing Wm. Oxley manages to keep himself from falling off the fence. The initiated Brahmans do not know when the Vedas, the Mahabharata, and especially the Bhagavad-Gita, were written, and by whom. But Wm. Oxley who is not a philosopher, still less a sage, does know. Harken! Whomsoever Wm. Oxley claims that he had seen and conversed with, was not with Master Koot-Hoomi as he alleges.

The secret is out. Spirit Answers reveals what used to be taught in the mystery schools to an elite audience. The time has come for this information to become known and understood by all. Presented in a simple, easy to understand manner, Spirit Answers addresses topics that include: Who is God? How are we related to God? Why are we here? What is heaven? How do we get to heaven? What happens when we die? Do we really live many lifetimes in physical bodies? The explanations provided by Jackie Watts and her Spirit co-author are unlike any that you have probably heard, for based in Ageless Wisdom teachings, they reveal hidden Truths. Due to our current level of evolution, Earths humanity is now ready to receive these Truths.

"Of the thousands of discourses Cayce gave, these on reincarnation (how and why it occurs, with hundreds of examples) and karma (the nature of karmic reactions and how to resolve them in your life) are the most popular and insightful"--Publisher's description.

New Religious Movements (NRMs) can involve vast numbers of followers and in many cases are radically changing the way people understand and practice religion and spirituality. Moreover, many are having a profound impact on the form and content of mainstream religion. The Encyclopedia of New Religious Movements provides uniquely global coverage of the phenomenon, with entries on over three-hundred movement from almost every country in the world. Coverage includes movements that derive from the major religions of the world and to neo-traditional movements, movements often overlooked in the study of NRMs. In addition to the coverage of particular movements there are also entries on topics, themes, key thinkers and key ideas, for example the New Age Movement, Neo-Paganism, New Religion and gender, NRMs and cyberspace, NRMs and the law, the Anti-Cult Movement, Swedenborg, Jung, Teilhard de Chardin, Lovelock, Gurdjieff, al-Banna, Qutb. The marked global approach and comprehensiveness of the encyclopedia enable an appreciation of the innovative energy of NRMs, of their extraordinary diversity, and the often surprising ways in which they can propagate geographically. The most ambitions publication of its sort, the Encyclopedia of New Religious Movements is a major addition to the reference literature for students and researchers of the field in religious studies and the social sciences. Entries are cross-referenced with short bibliographies for further reading. There is a full index.
