Patrick Bailey was born in 1803 in North Carolina. He married Amanda Tripp and they had five children. He married Sarah Long (1824-1910 )in 1849 in Forsyth County, Georgia. They had nine children. He died in 1882 in Randolph County, Alabama. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Alabama and Georgia.
