Nestled in a small town in the mountains. Six neighborhood kids known as "The Coral Way Gang", set out on a journey that no one intended to take, but God had other plans. Due to a challenge between two of the kids, they discover a secret within a mysterious forbidden cave that will forever change their lives. The Gang travels to a strange land where they meet "The Guide" who explains what they must do in order to return back home. They must find the "Shadow of the Lamb." With only an ancient parchment that contains instructions and a scarlet stone, they begin their journey. Throughout this first adventure, Annie struggles with not being able to trust others. She discovers that she has been given a unique gift, but no one believes her. Will Annie learn to trust in God even when others let her down? Kim Kuykendoll was born in Dayton, Ohio. She grew up in Mason, Ohio with her parents and two older brothers, where creativity was encouraged and in abundance. After meeting her husband Ralph, they were blessed with three daughters. As a stay at home mom, she became very active in her church as an administrator for the children's ministry. This was when she conceived the idea for a children's adventure book series known as "The Adventures of the Coral Way Gang." She works full time now as well as continuing to write the further adventures of the Coral Way Gang. She and her husband reside in Ohio with their grown daughters and are also the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.

The third of Judy Garland's five husbands, Sid Luft was the one man in her life who stuck around. He was chiefly responsible for the final act of Judy's meteoric career, producing her iconic, Oscar-nominated performance in A Star Is Born and expertly shaping her concert career. Previously unpublished, and only recently found, Sid Luft's intimate autobiography tells their story. Their romance lasted Judy's lifetime, despite the separations, the reconciliations, and the divorce. Under Luft's management, Judy Garland came back, bigger than ever, building a singing career that rivaled Sinatra's. However, Judy's drug dependencies and suicidal tendencies put a tremendous strain on their relationship. Despite everything, Sid never stopped loving Judy and never forgave himself for not being able to ultimately save her from the demons that drove her to an early death.

By day they inhabit a land of bright fantastic birds and dark blue seas, but at night their dreams are haunted by the image of a terrifying beast. As the boys' delicate sense of order fades, so their childish dreams are transformed into something more primitive, and their behaviour starts to take on a murderous, savage significance. The two become close allies aboard the ship, but the racial and power differences between Miles, who becomes a petty officer aboard the vessel, and Neb, who is confined to the role of regular seaman. A sequel "Miles Wallingford" continues to follow the maritime adventures of Miles Wallingford Jr, and his long-time friends Neb and Lucy Harding, and resolves many thematic and plot elements left unsettled in Afloat and Ashore. Novels are partially autobiographical, inspired by J. Fenimore Cooper's own experiences as a sailor. James Fenimore Cooper (1789-1851) was a prolific and popular American writer of the early 19th century. His historical romances of frontier and Indian life in the early American days created a unique form of American literature. Before embarking on his career as a writer, Cooper served in the U.S. Navy as a Midshipman, which greatly influenced many of his novels and other writings. The novel that launched his career was The Spy, a tale about counterespionage set during the Revolutionary War. He also wrote numerous sea stories, and his best-known works are five historical novels of the frontier period known as the Leatherstocking Tales. Among his most famous works is the Romantic novel The Last of the Mohicans, often regarded as his masterpiece.
