"The Five Degree Principle is like having your own professional coach to improve your career; improve your life. A five degree shift seems so small, but i can produce mind-boggling, monumental results." - Scott Collins, EVP, Advertising Sales, AMC 7 WE tv at AMC Networks "Rarely is a business book a page-turner, but this one is an exception. I found myself ever wanting to know what happens next. Something in each chapter resonated with me." - Anne Jaques, Director, Global Consulting Knowledge Management, Deloitte LLP In coaching Fortune 100 executives, author Shannon Cassidy frequently observed that they intended to make drastic changes overnight. This strategy is a recipe for failure, fueling a new, erroneous belief that realizing these dreams requires a miracle. Cassidy successfully guided them through her effective strategy: that five degree shifts, as opposed to 180-degree turns are the keys to obtaining goals. In The Five Degree Principle, we journey though a compelling fable of struggling executive Lauren and her trusted coach Andrea. Andrea encourages Lauren to use actionable tools and effective, straightforward strategies to take on tough, interpersonal challenges, both at home and in her workplace, and creatively rewrite her life story. Together the two demonstrate the efficacy of making change in small increments, rather than in leaps and bounds. The five Degree Principle shows how to follow a step-by-step path to progress and substantive change. "In the Five Degree Principle, Ms. Cassidy shows us how to make incremental, small adjustments to our attitudes and thinking that provide a clearing; a thoughtful breathing space for us to powerfully, confidently move ahead in our lives with ease, one small but significant and sustainable step at a time. This little book will resonate with me for a long time." - Jacqueline M. Welch, SVP, Human Resources, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

This book was created for the individual who has the desire to achieve the dream body they've always wanted, but struggles as to where to begin the journey. The Five Principles described in this book will ultimately do one thing - build muscle fast! With more muscle comes the list of benefits we all want, including having and easily maintaining a lower body fat percentage. At a young age, Drake learned that if you sincerely help people with what they want to accomplish in life and do it graciously, than you will eventually have no problem fulfilling the needs and wants that you may want or desire. This philosophy has transformed him into the public figure he is today and dedicates his life to living as the example. He is consistently striving everyday to go above and beyond for other people so that he can give hope to the world that selfless human beings still live on.

This book explores convergences of legal doctrine despite jurisdictional, cultural and political barriers, as well as divergences due to such barriers, examining topics that are of vital importance to contemporary legal scholars. Written by leading experts from all continents, its 26 chapters present a comparative analysis of cutting-edge legal issues of the 21st century. While each of the countries covered stands alone as a sovereign state, in a technologically advanced world their disparate systems nonetheless show comparable strategies in dealing with complex legal issues. Several of the chapters show how, in addition to state normative production and state adjudication, a growing panoply of non-state instruments and non-state adjudication are becoming more and more central to the legal field. This book is a key addition to the library of any scholar wanting to keep abreast of the major trends in contemporary law. Representing the current state of law in a vast range of areas, it covers each topic from a comparative perspective.

When describing the legal systems and laws of today’s Muslim-majority states in the Middle Eastern and North African region, two categories of laws are identified: one derived from Islamic and one from non-Islamic law. Following this notion, the literature finds that novel legal areas do not have any connection to Islamic law since they were not regulated by classical Islamic law. In contrast, the topic of organ transplantation is inherently connected to Islamic law because Islam considers itself to encompass all aspects of life. This research based on the analysis of organ transplantation laws of the MENA states encourages to rethink that a strict dichotomy between Islamic and non-Islamic laws does not exist. Organ transplantation laws in MENA states generally follow an international legal standard while also complying with the sharia.
