Evil comes from demons, restless souls, devil worshipers, and men who serve them. All these sources of evil are everywhere, mostly on the streets, always seeking victims. The good thing to know is that everyone can guard themselves against any form of spiritual evil that comes from demons or man. It's all written in the book.The book follows the life of the main character and narrator, Xenia. A newborn baby girl came into a world where hopes and dreams blossom for everyone. Before she was able to feel the warm embrace and see the gentle smile of joy of her mother, she was abandoned at birth in Brooklyn, New York.Her life of love and warmth immediately started when she was found by one of the loving workers, Mrs. Bailey. From the day she found her, Mrs. Bailey shielded and protected her as if she were her own child.She became of age and had to leave the home, attending college and pursuing a career in special education. Mrs. Bailey became ill. Xenia was at her bedside when she passed away. Her life was shattered. For the first time she felt alone with no family or friends.While attending college, Xenia was sharing an apartment with Tessa. Xenia's graduation was at hand, and they were getting ready to leave. Tessa did not let her know until the last minute that a few of her boyfriend's military buddies came from out of town to spend the weekend with him, and Bob invited them to go with him to her graduation. Once the girls entered the car, Bob introduced his friends to Xenia. She did not notice that Paul, Bob's best friend, could not take his eyes off her.
