Intercultural Dialogue: In Search of Harmony in Diversity offers a philosophical analysis of the issues surrounding cultural diversity and dialogical relationships among cultures as an alternative to “culture wars” and hegemonic globalization. It examines the ideas of dialogue and harmony as expressed in Daoism, Confucianism, Indian, and Ancient Greek philosophical traditions, as well as in contemporary European and Latin-American philosophies. Drawing on the works of Laozi, Confucius, Plato, Kant, and Gandhi, the book shows the importance of intercultural dialogue and the globalization of philosophy. It asserts that intercultural dialogue should have inter-philosophical global dialogue as its epistemological and ontological foundation. Intercultural philosophy elaborates on the conceptualization of philosophy as culturally embedded. Attention is paid to Bakhtin’s dialogism and its contemporary elaboration in the phenomenology of indirect speech, synergic anthropology, and the theory of transculture. The book offers a critical analysis of world problems. Their possible solutions require a more dialogically-oriented and humane transformation of society, aiming for a cosmopolitan order of law and peace.

In recent times, there have been many changes to global work environments that have highlighted the importance of prioritizing an inclusive, equitable, and diverse organizational culture and highlighted the relevance of the decisions that companies make in the present and how they affect their future. This reality contemplates creating an inclusive culture that values diversity and fosters trust, openness, and mutual support to build high-performance teams made up of diverse skills, cultures, and experiences. The Handbook of Research on Promoting an Inclusive Organizational Culture for Entrepreneurial Sustainability explains how proper management of diversity, in all aspects of people’s lives, turns differences into a source of opportunity. It discusses the modern forms of employment and management concepts adapted to the times, allowing people to use their identification and skills successfully in a meaningful way, regardless of their nationality, race, ideas, age, and gender. Covering topics such as equitable climates, socio-intercultural entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility, this major reference work is an excellent resource for entrepreneurs, human resource managers, business leaders and executives, government officials, students and faculty of higher education, librarians, researchers, and academicians.

Culture is a 'cumulative custom of beliefs, values, rituals, and sanctions practiced by a group of people, province or country'. It is a more sensitive dimension of internationalization of any business and making it perform in a culturally diverse environment. Sometimes, nations/states lose their normative significance in a cross-cultural setting (e.g., India, South America). It is because they undermine their earlier philosophies of norms, values, and beliefs or neglect the cultural significance of other nations. In the current business and workplace dynamics, cultural components introduced significant changes in the core assumptions of business practices and skill expectations. This paradigm shift has forced business executives and managers to know how cultural differences affect inter- and intra-organizational functioning. It has made gaining cross-cultural compatibility a serious concern for business and academic communities worldwide. Therefore, this book facilitates business leaders, expatriate managers, business executives, academicians and scholars to explore different cross-cultural business perspectives and practices.
