This is not very precise as to the year when he had seen this ex treme age, and, unluckily, the account of the funeral wants the date of the year. In Tong's Visitation, 1532 3, Rowland Stanley has entered himself as unmarried, and we therefore place Stanley's birth in 1534, and take the now of Wadsworth to mean 1629, the date Of his book.
