This section also discusses the complexity of offline search software. Research on end-user searching by various groups or in special settings are addressed in the second section, e.g., scientists, physicians, academics, schools, lawyers, journalists, brokers, and libraries. The next two sections consider end-user training and performance. A discussion of future developments in end-user searching concludes the review.
