This book is a collection of poems. They are not only poems; they are short stories with each telling its own meaning from beginning to end. So, one can say that they are really true story tellers and that story is yours. The centralization of my work is to try to express reality in a seriously sarcastically way to promote motivation in an effort to bridge the gap between the younger and older generations. I write about the sarcasm of love to bring back the fun of the feeling. I write about the past to insure that it will never be forgotten for it will always be our stepping stone for tomorrow. In all, I write about you by enhancing you with the implementation of halting the pleasure principle pimping theory (mood control) and to feel what is real (alternative structured). Real is what you want to feel, correct? Free your mind and feel the real for you are invited to enjoy the realms of the poetentelechy a most motivational affair! A special entelechy goes out to my protégé Andrew T. (Lil’ G) Gordon for it was once said, “If you keep life real life will keep you real.” In saying that - you must first understand the world then you and believe for real thoughts make determined dreams come true for we all belong. Kool!

"Fireflies at dawn. . . Winged essences, charred bodies still on fire." This evocative poetry-essay collection issues a call for a renewed embracement of the reader's own expressive "self." We've each a persona to hear --- a voice to resonate through silences of night and the noises of everyday. Life is a mystery hard to crack. We bang it like a door and strum it like a lyre until it opens some new "portal" through which the voice can authentically sound-out the "truths" of being human. That's the happening of this book. Altarpieces have always been artistic creations to conceive life's "sacred" space. This book follows that tradition, if rather untraditionally. These pieces speak to "hear" life on one's own terms; from one's own altar and cathedral. This "gathering" created a poet-self identity --- called 'Apo'kstrophes'. The essays join with the poems to conceive poetry and the spiritual quest with a renewed existential-eco-romantic perspective; sounding that quest with both feet grounded on "worldly other" Planet Earth. The challenge to grasp life at the core is a wrenching-wrestling match with the "Other," that ever-present dimension of "poetry" on life's path. --- Joining philosophical play with the authenticity of word-pieces as "true orients," O'Kelly's book, with many poets helping along the way, has taken up that challenge with unflinching creativity. Want a spiritual adventure? Fly! Take the ride! "Oh, the ride! Fins spurred in shivers of hide. Life's dearness reined in the roll of the tide."

Laurel Pearson is ready for adventure. The sort of adventure that means finding your people and discovering yourself and — well, it turns out that her adventure mostly looks like a studio apartment in a new city, a job at a quirky little bookshop, and humiliating herself in front of the most gorgeous woman she’s ever seen. Typical. But Laurel can’t shake the feeling that there’s more going on. The bookshop sells silver amulets and dried herbs alongside their truly impressive poetry section, and that gorgeous woman crackles with secrets. And the bookclub? It might be a coven. There’s something coming. Something changing. And Laurel would swear that Rhea Barnes — the gruff, hot gardener with the intriguing scars — is the key to understanding all of it. Can Laurel convince Rhea to take a chance on her and find out what’s pulling them together? Under the Harvest Moon is a complete F/F romance with grumpy gardeners, curious bookshop clerks, magic, and kisses in the moonlight!

Why do we sometimes meet someone and immediately feel rapport --instant friends-- as though we are reuniting after a long absence? And why are we strongly drawn towards some people, yet repelled by others, without any logical reason? Why do we enjoy some places we travel to, feeling remarkably at home, as the area is fondly familiar in some inexplicable way? Yet why do we feel uncomfortable in other locales and can hardly wait to leave? Could we be re-experiencing deeply buried memories from long ago? Are we tapping into past life experiences? Is unfinished business bringing us together with individuals we loved or hated, to balance the past? And how do we balance those karmic scales to achieve balance, peace, and harmony? Strangers in Paradise was inspired by the author's transformational experience at a sacred heaiu near Opeeakaa Falls on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Cosmic meetings and karmic relationships are set into motion in Strangers in Paradise, the charactersmoving to rhythms beyond their control. How they interact and then attempt to resolve their differences is the theme of this spiritual, healing, and romantic novel.

The year is 10642 B.C. and this is to be the Master Architect's most challenging incarnation. Life in the utopian world that he lovingly created over 500 years earlier, now known as Atlantis, was beginning to unravel. The egalitarian society that he so carefully shepherded was starting to show signs of a darker ego emerging as technology and greed were developing rapidly. Something had to be done or this great society would be lost forever. For Karen, this life is one of a young new soul, eager for adventure and love. She finds this and, perhaps, more than she would have liked to have experienced. Soul Journaling is a series of books based on the past lives of the author, Karen Valiquette. For many, exploring past lives is a welcomed opportunity. For others, it would require suspending disbelief. Regardless of your beliefs, this series provides powerful and compelling stories filled with subtle lessons we can all appreciate. Remember, we are all connected.
