In a world where fantasy and magic intertwine, where destiny dances with the whims of fate, a tale of enchantment unfolds amidst the depths of an ancient forest. Within this magical realm, a prince yearning for adventure and a humble commoner longing for a better life find themselves inexplicably drawn to a mysterious event, an event that will forever alter the course of their lives. "The Enchanted Masquerade" invites you to step into a world of wonder and mystique, where hidden within the shadows of towering trees, a secret masquerade ball materializes under the moon's benevolent gaze. As whispers of its existence spread through the land, two individuals, Prince Rylan and Elara, find themselves captivated by its allure. Both bear dreams and aspirations that extend beyond the boundaries of their current existence, and unbeknownst to each other, they receive cryptic invitations, pulling them towards the heart of the mystical forest. Guided by fate and masked in anonymity, the prince and the commoner enter the ethereal ball, unaware that they stand but mere footsteps away from each other. As they glide across the dance floor, their hearts flutter with an unexplainable connection, a cosmic force that draws them inexorably together. Beneath the enchanting melodies and sparkling lights, they share a night of wonder, entwined in a magical dance that leaves an indelible mark on their souls. As the night comes to a close, Rylan and Elara part ways, their identities shrouded in secrecy, and return to their separate lives. Yet, destiny's threads are woven tightly, and the lingering sensation of the masquerade's enchantment lingers within their hearts, persistently tugging at their souls. Now begins a journey of discovery, as both protagonists embark on individual quests to uncover the identity of their mysterious dance partner. With every step, they draw closer, led by fate's guiding hand and a mystical guardian within the forest's depths. But not all paths are strewn with petals of roses, for a nefarious presence lurks in the shadows, seeking to exploit the masquerade's magic for malicious purposes. As Rylan and Elara draw nearer to each other, they also find themselves entangled in a dangerous web of deception and intrigue. Will true love conquer all? Can the power of the magical forest overcome the darkness that threatens to engulf them? And as destiny dances its final steps, will the prince and the commoner find their way back to each other's arms, united by a love that transcends time and reality? Join us on a journey through a world of wonder, where the boundaries of fate and free will blur, and where love and magic intertwine in "The Enchanted Masquerade." As the stars illuminate the night sky, and the ancient forest comes alive with secrets and enchantment, brace yourself for an unforgettable tale of romance, adventure, and destiny.

Inspired by the author’s harrowing experiences, Oluwa Street Evil Mobs 1967 explores the brutal torture and ruthless killings targeting innocent Igbo people and other Nigerians wrongly profiled in 1967 Lagos amid the raging Nigerian/Biafran War. This sobering work implores present-day Nigerian political and military leaders to reflect deeply on past bloody mistakes as they navigate complex dynamics risking further conflict. The catastrophic failures spanning tribal, religious, and political divides throughout the three-year war must not be forgotten. Today’s tenuous peace requires re-examining volatile misunderstandings that engulf nationhood when weaponized instead of addressed through compassionate leadership seeking reconciliation. Are darker forces again exploiting divisions? Have lessons been learned? Does real and lasting peace exist for all in Nigeria? By confronting painful history, Oluwa Street Evil Mobs 1967 sounds an urgent call for breaking destructive cycles that allow persecution of any ethnic group under the excuses of war. There must be accountability along with healing so the innocent victims documented here are honoured through non-repetition – and community replaces suspicion as guiding light.

Bukharin's Philosophical Arabesques was written while he was imprisoned in the Lubyanka Prison in Moscow, facing trial on charges of treason, and later awaiting execution after he was found guilty. After the death of Lenin, Bukharin cooperated with Stalin for a time. Once Stalin's supremacy was assured he began eliminating all potential rivals. For Bukharin, the process was to end with his confession before the Soviet court, facing the threat that his young family would be killed along with him if he did not. While awaiting his death, Bukharin wrote prolifically. He considered Philosophical Arabesques as the most important of his prison writings. In its pages, he covers the full range of issues in Marxist philosophy--the sources of knowledge, the nature of truth, freedom and necessity, the relationship of Hegelian and Marxist dialectic. The project constitutes a defense of the genuine legacy of Lenin's Marxism against the use of his memory to legitimate totalitarian power. Consigned to the Kremlin archives for a half-century after Bukharin's execution, this work is now being published for the first time in English. It will be an essential reference work for scholars of Marxism and the Russian revolution and a landmark in the history of prison writing.

The Routledge Companion to Vsevolod Meyerhold brings together a wealth of scholarship on one of the foremost innovators in European theatre. It presents a detailed picture of the Russian director’s work from when it first emerged on the modern stage to its multifarious present-day manifestations. By combining an historical focus with the latest contemporary research from an international range of perspectives and authors, this collection marks an important moment in Meyerhold studies as well as offering a new assessment of his relation to today's theatre-making. Its dynamic blend of research is presented in five sections: Histories enlarges on more conventional subjects like the grotesque and Biomechanics, to overlooked topics such as Meyerhold's ‘failed’ projects and his work in film; Collaborations and Connections extends understandings of Meyerhold’s well-known collaborative capacities to consider new cultural influences and lesser known working relationships; Sources engages with hitherto untapped material in Meyerhold’s oeuvre by reproducing and contextualising previously untranslated primary sources on his work; Practitioner Voices offer lively, on the ground, testimony of the contemporary impact of Meyerhold's practice; Meyerhold in New Contexts maps the routes of his practice across continents and examines ways in which his work is being applied in a number of contemporary scenarios, such as motion capture, computer-based 3D visualisations, and the ‘new normal’ of digital pedagogy. This is a key resource for students and scholars of European Theatre, acting theory, and actor training, as well as for those more broadly interested in the socio-political impact of theatre.
