Jessie has one rule: No dating airmen. Unfortunately, Derrick Allen doesn't seem to care. But what does it matter? Prince Charming had a horse, not a cargo plane. Jessie: A strange silence settled over the car. And though I scrolled through my inbox, I found myself more and more unsettled by the man sitting beside me. Which was stupid. This was Derrick, the guy who tormented me for half of our relationship and spent the other half playing pranks and begging me to help him avoid his boss. So why did I feel like I was really meeting him for the first time? And why did it suddenly feel like maybe...maybe it was time to rethink the rules after all? *** Derrick: It had to be the uniform. Women were weird about uniforms. It was just something I wore every day. It had function and utility. Once I’d accidentally terrified a group of kids in a gas station, who I quickly realized were from another country. But Jessie didn’t look terrified. She looked...curious. And though that would have concerned me two months ago, now I couldn’t help but wonder if I liked it. My Little Rock Airman is the first in the My Air Force Fairy Tale series, clean and wholesome standalone novels about life and love with military men. Read it today to find love, truth, laughter, and the magic of happily ever after.

Three men in uniform. Three spunky ladies. Three fairy tale-themed happily ever afters. 1. My Little Rock Airman Jessie: As a strange silence settles in the car, I find myself increasingly unsettled by the man beside me. Which is stupid. Derrick torments me for half of our relationship and spends the other half begging me to help him avoid his boss. Besides, I don't date airmen. So why do I feel like I'm just now meeting him for the first time? And why does it suddenly feel like maybe...maybe it's time to rethink my dating rules after all? Derrick: It has to be the uniform. Women are weird about uniforms. It's just something I wear every day. It has function and utility. Usually, when Jessie sees me, she meets me with a scowl. But today, she doesn't look annoyed. She looks...intrigued. And though that would have concerned me two months ago, now I can't help but think that I like it. 2. My Carolina Airman Alexander: Once upon a time, Carly smiled a lot. Even in her pain now, I can see hints of that girl I loved so much. She was smart, adventurous, and had the snarkiest sense of humor. And, based on the way she nearly grinned at me earlier, I can only guess...or hope, rather, that all of that is still inside. As I leave the base to head to the nearest pharmacy, a plan begins to form. It's perfect, really. I could nurse Carly back to health. She’d get insurance. She’d be independent of her relatives’ care, and I could spend the rest of our lives making up for my mistakes. My heart begins to hammer in my chest, and with each passing second, I can see it unfolding perfectly in my head. The only problem will be convincing Carly. Saying she can be stubborn is like saying winter is chilly. But I can be stubborn, too. Especially when it comes to the girl I love. Carly: I don’t know what I expected from the kiss, but it wasn’t this. My eyes are closed, but colors flash behind my eyelids like fireworks. In this kiss, I see glimpses of two kids who fell in love and all the dreams they’d painted in those bright Carolina sunsets. Then he's gone. I open my eyes in confusion to see him pulling back as the crowd bursts into cheers and whistles. “I present Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Calero,” the judge announces. Alexander's eyes smolder as they meet mine, and we both know something has changed. If only I knew what it is. This is supposed to be a fake marriage, just a way to get me the medical care I need until Grandpa comes back. So why does kissing Alexander feel like waking up? 3. My Las Vegas Airman Chris: I play life safe. Order, determination, and hard work serve me well, and I'm about to take the next step toward my dream: becoming an Air Force officer. Unfortunately, the experimental officer training program I've been accepted to is at a university in Las Vegas. Even worse, the college student I've been assigned as a “university guide” might be charming and adorable, but she’s also the most scatterbrained person I've ever had the misfortune of working with. The more I get to know misadventurous, bubbly Skylar, however, the more I realize that there might be more than my strict adherence to rules on the line. I might be in danger of losing my heart. Skylar: I don't mean to get into scrapes. But thanks to my unfortunate...tendencies, I'm about to flunk out of one of my foundational hospitality courses. So when I'm offered the chance to earn extra credit by helping a new student for a semester, I jump. I quickly realize, however, that Sergeant Chris Brooking, while absurdly handsome, is one of the biggest squares I've ever met. In my attempt to unlock his secrets, however, I end up discovering my own truths that I’d rather not face. So when the broody airman offers to help, I must decide whether I can bear to let him see the insecurities I try so hard to hide...or push him away forever.

This was a magic I’d long forgotten existed. *** Alexander: Once upon a time, she’d smiled a lot. Even in her pain, I could see hints of that girl I'd loved so much. She was smart and adventurous and had the snarkiest sense of humor I’d ever met. And, based on the way she’d nearly grinned at me earlier, I could only guess...or hope, rather, that all of that was still inside. As I left the base to head to the nearest pharmacy, a plan began to hatch itself in my mind. The family housing had prompted it, but the more I thought about it, the more I knew it was the only way. It was perfect, really. I could nurse Carly back to health. She’d even have insurance. She’d be independent of her relatives’ care, and I would spend the rest of our lives making up for my mistakes. Saying she could be stubborn was like saying winter is chilly. But I could be stubborn, too. *** Carly: I don’t know what I’d expected from the kiss, but it wasn’t this. This...my brain ceased producing words. Instead, I felt. Saw. Tasted. His hands were warm on my face, and his lips were like fire on mine. My eyes were closed, but colors flashed behind my eyelids like fireworks. In that kiss, I saw glimpses of two kids who fell in love and all the dreams they’d painted in those bright Carolina sunsets. Familiar as the kiss was, the boy beneath just wasn’t the same. Like magma pushing through the earth’s crust, a new man was there, breaking through everything I knew. Confidence I hadn't seen in him before radiated from his gentle hands as they kept me rooted to the spot. Then he was gone. I opened my eyes in confusion to see him pulling back as the crowd burst into cheers and whistles. “I present Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Calero,” the judge announced, and the clapping grew even louder. But I couldn’t tear my gaze from him. His eyes smoldered as they met mine, and I knew that we both knew something inside had changed. If only I knew what it was. This was supposed to be a fake marriage, after all, a way to get me the medical care I needed until Grandpa came back. So why did kissing him feel like waking up? Why did it feel like coming home? Air Force Cop An Autobiography By: Kelly D. Harrison The enforcement of law in the US Armed Forces is covered by the Uniform Code of Military Justice and, when applicable, Title 18 of the US Code. There are other regulations and directives that can result in punitive action. The US Armed Forces is a US taxpayer funded enterprise with the US Army and US Navy almost as old as the nation itself. Crimes against property in the armed forces are not like that of breaking into a privately owned jewelry store in New York City, since all property “owned” by the military branches is property of the US Government. Military members and others who damage, destroy or steal property of the US Government and fellow military members are dealt with harshly. This includes those military members and civilians who commit murder, rape, acts of serious bodily injury and other “index crimes” such as auto theft, arson, kidnapping, etc., within the jurisdiction of the federal government. The US Armed Forces have several consolidated confinement facilities and the US Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Each military branch has their own police and investigative agencies for dealing with crimes against property and people. In the US Air Force, there are the Security Forces (previously known as Air Police and Security Police) for protection of base resources, traffic control enforcement and investigation of misdemeanor offenses. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) is a cadre of enlisted, officer and civilian special agents (all with Federal Law Enforcement Officer status) who are highly trained in specialties such as forensics, fraud, counter-intelligence, polygraph, computer crimes, electronic technical support (hidden cameras, electronic sweeping for covert recording devices, etc.) and general crimes such as arson, homicides, child abuse along with every other imaginable offense against property and people.

In the mind's eye of a progressive!Writing this introduction was a prestigious honor from my father to bestow on me. The best way I can explain to you that this the man you're about to embark in reading is the most progressively, motivated person I know!Very vigilant, proactive, and always see the forest for the trees! He taught me and my cousins to be the same way. Even more so, his friends and associates all respect him for it! In the experiences that I previously shared, I came to the realization that between my father and I, communication is the key in our relationship between father and son.I'm an introvert by nature, however, highly outspoken and vocal. For this, I give great thanks and appreciation to my father, Arthur H. Bronson Jr., for teaching that communication is the key to any friendship or relationship, especially between a father and child.
