This oversized book of photography and verse reflects many aspects of the highly emotional, uncommonly eventful life of the author: the confusion and poverty he experienced as a child growing up in Fort Scott, Kansas; the bigotry, drug addiction, terror, chaos and blatant inhumanity to which he was exposed as a rising journalist and photographer; the beauty and sophistication with which his professional career is associated today.

As a mom of three children, 3-years-old and under, I became an expert on motherhood's meaningful moments. You know, like, nursing a newborn... with two toddlers wrapped around my legs... while I'm on the toilet... drinking cold coffee. Magical. I could have cried. Instead, I laughed. Ok, I cried a little. Ok, a lot. But then, I laughed. It did not take long before I gave birth to my 4th baby- Cold Coffee MOMents. An online community to share the laughter, tears and not so ordinary MOMents with comical, guilt-ridden stories, advice, videos and information and resources on motherhood, parenting, home management, and family travel. So, sit back and enjoy clean, high-quality PG-13 entertainment while you sip on your 4-hour-old, twice reheated, cold coffee.

While growing older certainly has its benefits, its downside poses big challenges. Physical decline; loss of spouses, relatives, and friends; memory lapses; feelings of inadequacy or uselessness--such things can give us those "senior moments" that sidetrack us with fear and worry. In this sequel to her bestselling book, Karen O'Connor brings even more encouragement to people in their golden years, prompting them to reflect, laugh, play, and take both burdens and joys to the Lord who cares for them.

Powerfully posing questions of ethics, ideology, authorship and form, documentary film has never been more popular than it is today. Edited by one of the leading British authorities in the field, The Documentary Film Book is an essential guide to current thinking on documentary film. In a series of fascinating essays, key international experts discuss the theory of documentary, outline current understandings of its history (from pre-Flaherty to the post-Griersonian world of digital 'i-Docs'), survey documentary production (from Africa to Europe, and from the Americas to Asia), consider documentaries by marginalised minority communities, and assess its contribution to other disciplines and arts. Brought together here in one volume, these scholars offer compelling evidence as to why, over the last few decades, documentary has come to the centre of screen studies.

The Patristic Understanding of Creation encapsulates what the Church Fathers had to say, in their own words, on the topic of creation. Going back to Roman and Byzantine times, the writings of the Church Fathers are basic to Christian theology and provide a benchmark for how Christians have traditionally understood creation. This understanding of creation, however, faces tremendous challenges in our day, especially in discussions at the intersection of science and religion. Process theology and other efforts to reconceptualize creation have explicitly opposed key elements of the Christian doctrine of creation: creation ex nihilo, the transcendence and immanence of God in creation, “the absolute creatureliness and non-self-sufficiency of the world" (to use a phrase of Fr. Georges Florovsky), the goodness of creation, and the openness of the world to divine action. All of these the Church Fathers not only held but also ably defended. This anthology is therefore not merely of academic or historical interest. In reasserting a theologically sound understanding of creation, this anthology fills a need that is both practical and urgent.
