This glossary is divided into three sections: Section 1 contains an alphabetically arranged list of scientific terms, as well as state, federal, and international regulations, initiatives, and organizations. Section II contains acronyms and abbreviations with their most commonly used pronunciations and definitions. Section III contains flow charts illustrating the relationships among some of the more complex programs and organizations.
