Livestock Mandatory Reporting - Reestablishment and Revision of the Reporting Regulation for Swine, Cattle, Lamb, and Boxed Beef (US Agricultural Marketing Service Regulation) (AMS) (2018 Edition) The Law Library presents the complete text of the Livestock Mandatory Reporting - Reestablishment and Revision of the Reporting Regulation for Swine, Cattle, Lamb, and Boxed Beef (US Agricultural Marketing Service Regulation) (AMS) (2018 Edition). Updated as of May 29, 2018 On April 2, 2001, the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) implemented the Livestock Mandatory Reporting (LMR) program as required by the Livestock Mandatory Reporting Act of 1999 (1999 Act). The statutory authority for the program lapsed on September 30, 2005. In October 2006, legislation was enacted to reauthorize the 1999 Act until September 30, 2010, and to amend the swine reporting requirements of the 1999 Act (Pub. L. 109-296) (Reauthorization Act). This final rule will re-establish the regulatory authority for the program's continued operation and incorporate the swine reporting changes contained within the Reauthorization Act as well as make other changes to enhance the program's overall effectiveness and efficiency based on AMS' experience in the administration of the program over the last 6 years. This book contains: - The complete text of the Livestock Mandatory Reporting - Reestablishment and Revision of the Reporting Regulation for Swine, Cattle, Lamb, and Boxed Beef (US Agricultural Marketing Service Regulation) (AMS) (2018 Edition) - A table of contents with the page number of each section
