Lawson (or Lossen) Green Wilson (1847-1936), son of George Wilson and Lucy Ann Clark, was born in Cleveland Co., North Carolina, and died in Lehi, Utah Co., Utah. He was married to Elmina Green (1853-1912) in 1871. She was born in Grover, Cleveland Co., N.C. She was the daughter of Jonas Green and Eliza Elvira Etters. They had thirteen children. Lawson Wilson was baptized a member of the LDS-Church in 1888. Family migrated to Utah in 1891 settling first in North Ogden and then in Lehi. Descendants live in Utah and elsewhere. The Wilson ancestry has been traced to Richard Wilson, who migrated from Virginia about 1781, purchasing a plantation on Jumping Branch of King's Creek of the Broad River, S.C.
