[The book] was prepared to be used with the textbook Hole's human anatomy and physiology.... As with the textbook, the laboratory manual is designed for students with minimal backgrounds in the physical and biological sciences who are pursuing careers in allied health fields. The [book] contains sixty-two laboratory exercises and sixty-one reports, which are integrated closely with the chapters of the textbook. The exercises are planned to illustrate and review anatomical and physiological facts and principles presented in the textbook and to help students investigate some of these ideas in greater detail....
