Jayden, his elder brother Jason, younger sister Shanna and parents are mourning the death of their grandfather Edward Rogers, who had perished in a fire. After being contacted by the police about a metal chest which was recovered from the ruins, Jaydon, Jason and Shanna are now in possession of jewelery and some other items from the chest. One day while in his room and inspecting his jewels, Jayden accidently activates some kind of portal and is transported to a forest in another world. After meeting with the Elder of the Lawgra tribe, he is banished from that world as a war is about to take place, however even though he is banished he finds him returning to the forest to embark on an epic adventure.

"Harley approaches the music from the point of view of a musician; his thesis rests upon the conviction that Xenakis's theoretical formulations can be explained and understood without recourse to complicated mathematics. The "scientific" tendency of the composer's own explications of his work has baffled and often alienated many who have responded strongly to the music. Harley's book allows the interested student and scholar to delve deeply into the music while explaining the structures and theories that inform them in easy-to-understand terms. The book concludes with an up-to-date bibliography, discography, and a list of works."--BOOK JACKET.

In light of this research work, the Vatican II Council remains a landmark, and its document Apostolicam Actuositatem (what we decided to call a 'Text of witness of actions' for the Catholic Laity), the Decree on the Apostolate of the Laity, inter alia Lumen gentium and Gaudium et spes, that border on the mission of the Catholic Laity in the human society, is a great achievement. After the Vatican II Council the Church saw the need to enhance and harness the witnessing message of the Council for the Catholic Laity mission in the Church and in the world. In the light of the foregoing this work is part of these efforts. We developed a 'hermeneutical model' via the political theology of Johann Baptist Metz in the light of the Vatican II Council message that becomes a challenge for concrete action of the Nigerian Catholic Laity in the existential socio-political situation of Nigeria.
