Josh Wolf--one of the stars and writers of Chelsea Lately and After Lately--delivers a hilarious collection of essays that reminds us all what it takes to conquer fatherhood without sacrificing manhood. Struggling to make it as a stand-up comic didn't always fit with being a single parent. But Josh figured out his own set of rules--through trial and (frequent) error. Early picking up kids from school? The nearby strip club is a great place to kill time and bond with some like-minded dads. Want a drunken heart-to-heart with your son? First make sure there's no Sharpie around in case you pass out. Wondering where to take that special someone at the end of the night? Remember that no sane woman will have sex with you in a one-bedroom apartment where your kids are sleeping--even if you promise to be really, really quiet. Whether it's revealing the secrets to limitless hookups (hint: it's single moms) and getting rid of your children's friends that you just can't stand (hint: it's not single moms), or blackmailing PTA members and ignoring health codes, Josh is sure to impart some parenting wisdom along the way. Or at least have a good time trying.

Did he have the balls to come out at a company board meeting made up of white, middle-aged executives? To endure 28 painful and extensive surgeries? Show up at his 10-year high school reunion? Date a member of the Nashville Bikini Team? The answer is yes--yes, he did"--Publisher's website.

For years, Deidre Silva and Jackie Koney figured that men simply knew more about baseball than they did. They tried to reconcile their love of baseball with their second-class fan status, but they finally realized that not getting in a tizzy over the 1952 World Series didn't mean that they weren't "real" fans. As loyal—but not insane or stat-obsessed—spectators, they simply had a different perspective. In It Takes More Than Balls they share their brand of baseball passion with lifelong fans and the "baseball curious" of either gender. Offering anecdotes and gossip from the ballpark, the book also explains the nuances of today's game that will help readers enjoy their next (or first) baseball outing.

In his early thirties, Danny Evans had a smokin' hot wife, a new baby boy, and the highest paying job he'd ever had. Then, in the span of one week, a sudden layoff and the events of 9/11 plunged Evans into a crushing depression. At turns poignant and uproarious, Rage Against the Meshugenah vividly traces Evans' journey through the minefield of mental illness from a modern man's point-of-view, including his no-holds-barred confrontations with infuriating sexual side effects, self-medication with beer and porn, and a therapist named Neil Diamond. Danny Evans is here to tell readers the truth about depression, in his own unique style. Skillfully combining self-deprecating humor, absurdly ridiculous insights, and astute pop culture references, Evans reveals his universal struggle to make himself feel happy in a world gone mad, and he's willing to let readers in on his rollercoaster ride of laugher, tears and a whole lot of meshugenah.

The sports world according to Michael Rapaport—actor, Top 50 podcaster, award-winning film maker, and sports fanatic—from the greatest and downright worst athletes, players, teams, and jerseys, but minus statistics, analytics, or anything else that isn’t pure hustle in this “hell of a book” (Shaquille O'Neal). In 1979, nine-year-old Michael Rapaport decided he was going to do whatever it took to be a pro baller. He practiced and practiced, but by the time he was fifteen, he realized there was no place for a slow, white Jewish kid in the NBA. So, he found another way to channel his obsession with sports: talking trash. In the “crazy, passionate, funny and intense” (Colin Cowherd) This Book Has Balls, Rapaport uses his signature smack-talk style and in-your-face humor to discuss everything from why LeBron will never be like Mike, that Tiger needs the ladies to get his golf game back, and how he once thought Mary Lou Retton was his true love. And, of course, why next year will be the year the New York Knicks win the championship. This book is a series of rants—some controversial, some affectionate, but all incredibly hilarious. “Something is wrong with Michael Rapaport but that’s what makes him right,” (Charlamagne tha God).

The first book in the Time to Grab Your Balls series, Time to Grab Your Balls and Be a Man, is the foundation of what a man needs to be in Mind, Body and Spirit. It combines humor, psychological breakdowns, a lot of swearing and straight to the point explanations. It is serious and deep, without all of the boring bullshit. This book will help to build the fundamentals needed to master all areas of life. In fact, several highly decorated celebrities and Politicians were going to share their thoughts on the effectiveness of this book. Unfortunately, none of them responded to my random solicitations...sooooooo. Now, I have not seen another book out there that takes the same approach that I do. There might be one; Hell, there might be a bunch of them. I just haven't read them. You see most books on this subject are pretty shitty. They cover how to date or how to be in touch with your feminine side. Some cover how to simply act like a stereotypical man's man. You know, eating meat and talking sports. And that's not actually all that bad, but let's face it, if that's all you know about being a man then you're a fuckin' jackass. This book is not like that. This book will cover a multitude of subjects and show you how to be what a true man really needs to be; for himself, for his family and for society. Of course I'm sure there is a question you are dying to ask..."Why should I read YOUR book?" And I get it. We often base our perception of credibility in a pretty screwed up way. We don't want to hear from anyone that isn't a Doctor or a Celebrity or discovered by Oprah. But let's think about that. Does Medical School teach you how a Man should act? Does being a Celebrity mean you have figured out anything about life? Of course not! So No, I am not a Celebrity or a Shrink. What I am is an expert at being a Man. My expertise is how to act, think and feel like a man. How to take lumps and keep on ticking. How to treat people. How to get shit done. My expertise is balancing emotions so as not to be a pussy but not an emotional rock either. I am an expert in working out and getting scars while also knowing how to play with babies. Do you understand where I am going here? I didn't go to school to learn why you have Daddy Issues, nor have I spent my life on television pretending to be someone I'm not. I hope you can handle that.
