"The root causes of much of this turmoil appear to touch on a number of important Federal concerns: The Federal tax treatment of sports enterprises, the labor-management relations problems of professional athletes and their employers, the impact of Federal antitrust policy on sports business operations, and the effect of the congressional policy on sports broadcasting, to name just a few.
