In your mind sometimes there is that quiet voice we all hear, but do we stop to really hear what it says? And if we did would we always like what it has to say? Let’s just say it’s telling you to do that thing you’ve always been told was wrong, that thing that has the possibility to feel so good. What then, do you ignore it or do you listen more closely to what it’s telling you to do? That whisper, that faint sound of a voice not just any voice but your own voice saying. “Why not, it would feel so good and if you do it just right no one needs to know.” How or why should you keep telling yourself no? Not every one of us says no to that voice. Some of us take pleasure in the sounds of the whisper and the places it takes us, and the blood it brings when it’s all done right. Let’s cut to it. He has secrets and scary thoughts, the thoughts of which if you could hear them you would cross the street. The thoughts that will make you double-check your door before bed. Thoughts and secrets that you would be better off not knowing cause knowing can easily make you one of those secrets he would need to bury, and deep where no one would find you. What does he do and why? It’s just another one of those things that you would be better off just not knowing. Who is he and why does he take comfort in that quiet whisper, well that’s the bad part. If you did see him on the street you wouldn’t think to cross, in fact, you may take joy in walking with him. And that knock at your front door right before bed with that handsome gentle looking man standing outside just wanting to know if you have seen his best friend, his lost dog that got out. No, you do not let him in your house, but you do leave with him to help with the search. Now, look at you, before you know it you are now one of his buried secrets.
