Contains deeds, writs, assignments, bonds, lease agreements, wills, insurance policies, invoices/receipts, "for value received" documents, "received of" documents, checks, check summary slips, financial books/ledgers, papers regarding the Evergreen Cemetery lot, newspaper clippings, Holmes v. Gerry court documents, a wallet with items, "Elements of Civil Government" by Alex L. Peterman, correspondence, a photograph, poems, land-related documents, property minutes and miscellaneous. Processing Note: Some invoices had two years if the transaction took place in one year and the invoice was paid in another. The earlier year was used when organizing the invoices. Writs were organized by the date in the middle of the document. Due to a large amount of Casco National Bank checks, only one check per month was retained in the collection. All of the Woodbury and Moulton checks were kept.
