John McCasland (1750-1848), probably of Scotch-Irish lineage, served in the Revolutionary Army between 1776 and 1778, and married Jane LeFevre in 1778. They moved in 1780 from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania to Nelson County, Kentucky, and in 1801 to Davidson County, Tennessee. Includes genealogical data and family history of other descendants of various individuals bearing the surname of McCasland, McCaslin, McCausland or McCauslin, etc. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Texas and elsewhere.

Philip Wilhelm Gentzler was born 4 September 1739 in Dotzheim, Hessen-Nassau, Germany. His parents were Johann Conradt Gentzler and Maria Catharina Lotz. His family emigrated in 1749 and settled in York County, Pennsylvania. He married Maria Juliana Wintermyer in about 1758. They had ten children and lived in Lincoln County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi and Texas.

John Sullivan, parents unknown, was born about 1720 in either Ireland or Maryland. His wife is also unknown, but he had two sons born in Maryland. John died in North Carolina between 1789 and 1796. His children and descendants have lived in Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, and other areas in the United States.
