This workbook employs frequently occurring words from French art song literature in a graded and cumulative order. Units contain enunciation exercises, rules for transcription, classroom application and individually assigned word lists. The course begins with an introduction to the sounds of the French language in preparation for culminating exercises which aid in developing skills necessary for enunciating the phrase. Instructor's manual contains IPA transcription for all exercises.
