Conducted by the Bureau of Land Management Uncompahgre Field Office, this report details the completed river inventory and final determinations for suitability of rivers and streams, in the Uncompahgre Planning Area, for inclusion in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Systems. The report also includes the portion of the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area managed by the BLM Uncompahgre Field Office. River segments were evaluated to determine whether they meet the dual criteria of being free-flowing and possessing one or more outstandingly remarkable values. Eligible river segments were determined in the following areas: Cottonwood Creek, Dry Fork Escalante Creek, Escalante Creek, Gunnison River, Monitor Creek, Potter Creek, Rose Creek, Roubideau Creek, Deep Creek, West Fork Terror Creek, Beaver Creek, Dry Creek, Naturita Creek, Saltado Creek, San Miguel River, Tabeguache Creek, Lower Dolores River, North Fork Mesa Creek, Dolores River, Ice Lake Creek, La Sal Creek, Lion Creek, and Spring Creek.
