"Project Overview; With the adoption of the Monroe County Urbanizing Area Plan in December, 2015, the County initiated the next step of plan implementation. This "Phase II" of the planning process furthers the vision by developing a set of design guidelines and zoning requirements that wil ensure new development, redevelopment, and property improvements will appropriately coordinate with the land use and development design intent for the Urbanizing Area. The County engaged MKSK and Graydon Land Use Strategies to assist in the development of a "zoning framework" that will be used to guide the future development of Zoning Ordinance amendments.
