Excerpt from Discourses Preached on Several Occasions The words, in the original, might have been bet ter rendered thus, Be not many teaebers, [snowingxtnat we [ball undergo a fenerer judgmenta; and were occa fioned by certain novices afl'uming the office Of teach ers, when utterly unqualified for it. The meaning of them is, the office of a fpiritual infiruaor is attended with great difficulty and danger, and the duties of it are hard to be difcharged. Let not, therefore, every man ruih into that Office.
