BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HELL! A desperate mother's five-year search for her missing son leads her to the small town of Brimount and to the mysterious Phillips family. Daisy Phillips, like many teenagers, has a hard time fitting in, but not for the usual reasons. Daisy stands eight-and-a-half feet tall and is still growing, but her troubles with ill health, daily ridicule, and custom-made clothing are only the tip of the iceberg. Daisy may well be descended from a race of cannibalistic giants spawned from the outcasts of Heaven! Colin Lorimer is one of graphic fiction's emerging unique creative voices, and Daisy is a tale unlike any other, a singular vision both horrific and beautiful. "Lorimer's art will pull you into his world." —Big Shiny Robot

The Elemental Mixology Tipples books contain a multitude of classic, popular, rare and custom drinks. Book one covers Punches, Blossoms, Fruitballs and Possets. By returning to the tradition of understanding drinks by types, these are the only current books that let the reader look up drinks even if not knowing their name - or even knowing for sure whether they already exist. All are prepared, according to the principles of traditional, American mixology. Recommended liquor, glassware and tools required for making each type of drink is indicated throughout the book. There are also sections the history of the types of, and often specific, drinks. Both book one and book two are needed.

Introduction to Floriculture provides an introduction to commercial floriculture, containing information on major and minor greenhouse and field crops, and includes potted plants and cut flowers. The book is organized into two parts. Part I on cut flowers discusses the history and propagation of chrysanthemums, carnations, roses, snapdragons, orchids, gladiolus, and minor cut crops. Part II on potted plants includes bulbous plants, azaleas, pot mums, African violets, poinsettias, and Easter lilies. This book was written for students who have been exposed to a sufficient number of biology courses to acquaint them with many of the terms and plant processes discussed in the text. It would be beneficial if they have also taken a course in greenhouse management or are taking one concurrently with their floriculture course. The book can be used by commercial growers who constantly seek more information to enable them to realize maximum gain from the investments of labor, time, and capitol they have placed in this challenging field.

Welcome to the Proceedings of ICCHP 2010! We were proud to welcome participants from more than 40 countries from all over the world to this year’s ICCHP. Since the late 1980s, it has been ICCHP’s mission to support and reflect development in the field of “Assistive Technologies,” eAccessibility and eInclusion. With a focus on scientific quality, ICCHP has become an important reference in our field. The 2010 conference and this collection of papers once again fulfilled this mission. The International Programme Committee, comprising 106 experts from all over the world, selected 147 full and 44 short papers out of 328 abstracts submitted to ICCHP. This acceptance ratio of about half of the submissions demonstrates our strict pursuit of scientific quality both of the programme and in particular of the proceedings in your hands. An impressive number of experts agreed to organize “Special Thematic Sessions” (STS) for ICCHP 2010. These STS help to bring the meeting into sharper focus in several key areas. In turn, this deeper level of focus helps to collate a state of the art and mainstream technical, social, cultural and political developments.
