Black & white print. Principles of Management is designed to meet the scope and sequence requirements of the introductory course on management. This is a traditional approach to management using the leading, planning, organizing, and controlling approach. Management is a broad business discipline, and the Principles of Management course covers many management areas such as human resource management and strategic management, as well as behavioral areas such as motivation. No one individual can be an expert in all areas of management, so an additional benefit of this text is that specialists in a variety of areas have authored individual chapters.

The Virgin and The Priest is the absolute must-read. One by one, it shatters the sacred cows of Christianity to explain the truth of what really happened two thousand years ago. The Gospel Infancy Narratives are deciphered to break an embedded code that protected the identity of Jesus' father from those deemed incapable of receiving it. Jesus was the younger brother of John the Baptist, and their father was murdered for breaking the Law on adultery. Sibling rivalry lay behind Jesus' failure to gain public acceptance. Overwhelming evidence is presented to show that the Dead Sea Scrolls are not only an unedited version of New Testament events, but one of the manuscripts is a letter from John the Baptist sent to Jesus. The hitherto baffling images of Renaissance masterpieces are explained to prove the existence of a heretical counter-culture that knew the secret of Jesus' parentage, but revered John the Baptist as the true Christ.

Gardening in the Tropics contains a rich Caribbean world in poems offered to readers everywhere. Olive Senior's rich vein of humour can turn wry and then sharp in satire of colour-consciousness, class-consciousness and racism. But her predominant tone is the verbal equivalent of a pair of wide-open arms.

In the 1920s, Robert Athlyi Rogers founded the Afro-Athlican Constructive Gaathly religion in the West Indies. He wrote The Holy Piby as a guiding text, seeing Ethiopians - in the classical meaning of all Africans - as God's chosen people, and he preached self-determination and self-reliance. The Holy Piby is a major source of influence to the Rastafarian faith, which holds Haile Selassie I as Christ, and Marcus Garvey as his prophet. The Holy Piby consists of four books, and the seventh chapter of the second book identifies Marcus Garvey as one of three apostles of God. Original copies are extremely rare, and it is not even listed in the Library of Congress. The text was banned in Jamaica and many other Caribbean Islands until the late 1920s.
