This elementary book provides some state-of-the-art research results on broad disciplinary sciences on complex networks. Complex networks are typically not homogeneous, as they tend to display an array of structures at different scales. Evolutionary algorithms constitute a class of well-known algorithms, which are designed based on the Darwinian theory of evolution and Mendelian theory of heritage.
