Estos dos breves ensayos fueron realizados por el autor en 1999. El primero de ellos, "El ensueño y la acción", nos remite a la Plaza de Colón, en Madrid. En ella, una especie de montaje escenográfico de colosales dimensiones sugiere reflexiones contradictorias. La plaza deja de ser un simple lugar de esparcimiento y desahogo urbano para convertirse en un laberinto de hechos históricos que se desarrollan en complejo entramado. En "El bosque de Bomarzo", el autor dilucida los significados de un jardín manierista del Renacimiento atestado de alegorías y símbolos originados en la Alejandría del siglo II. En este bosque, hoy convertido en atracción turística, se conservan numerosas esculturas de inspiración mística que siguen dando lugar a interpretaciones fantasiosas.
