This Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) treats, in detail, a variety of issues concerning United States Naval operations, procedures and regulations, including: Navigation; Personnel; Procurement, Property, Patents, and Contracts; Claims; Islands Under Navy Jurisdiction; and other miscellaneous rules, such as certifications and execmptins under international regulations for preventing collisions at sea and sepecial rules with respect to additional station and signal lights. Active duty and Veteran Navy and military members, governmental employees and contractors responsible for interacting with, and following the procedures of, the Navy, JAGS, lawyers, law librarians, students and professors interested in Naval legal and other procedures. In addition, any member of the general public interested in the particulars of how the United States Navy operates, its procedures and regulations.
