Well, I was in the kitchen, and as I turned around towards the table, I just absently glanced down and saw THE RECIPE!!! I ran to the hubs in the living room and told him THE RECIPE was lying on the table. He told me to copy it quick before she came back in there! Of course, I tried to do just that. When I heard her approaching, I had to stop writing it down, but I copied most of it! The reason her recipe is hard to duplicate without the exact measurements is because of some measurements like 2 tablespoons + 3/4 teaspoons and other weird combinations. Well, of course, at the first opportunity I set out to make THE RECIPE. Since I didn't have the complete recipe, we were going to have to do some testing, which ended up being a lot of testing! My mother-in-law makes huge batches of the stuff, so we had to cut the recipe to a batch size for our family. Remember the crazy measurement combinations?
