Charles William Varney I (1835-1884), a direct descendant in the eighth generation, moved from New Hampshire to Berwick, Maine and married Rachel Taylor Parker in 1857. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, Missouri, Colorado, Texas, California and elsewhere.
