This report describes the activities of DoD personnel, both civilian and military, in Shots ENCORE, HARRY, GRABLE, and CLIMAX, the final four shots of the UPSHOT-KNOTHOLE atmospheric nuclear weapons tests series conducted between 8 May and 4 June 1953. These tests involved participants from Exercise Desert Rock V, AFSWP, AFSWC, AEC nuclear weapons design laboratories, and the Civil Effects Group. This volume also describes the radiological safety activities at each of these four shots.
