Restorative justice is often touted as the humane and politically progressive alternative to the rigid philosophy of retributive punishment that underpins many of the world's judicial systems. Emotionally seductive, its rhetoric appeals to a desire for a "right-relation" among individuals and communities, an offers us a vision of justice that allows for the mutual healing of victim and offender, and with it, a sense of communal repair. In Compulsory Compassion, Annalise Acorn, a one-time advocate for restorative justice, deconstructs the rhetoric of the restorative movement. Drawing from diverse legal, literary, philosophical, and autobiographical sources, she questions the fundamental assumptions behind that rhetoric: that we can trust wrongdoers' performances of contrition; that healing lies in a respectful, face-to-face encounter between victim and offender; and that the restorative idea of right-relation holds the key to a reconciliation of justice and accountability on the one hand, with love and compassion on the other.

The Bible is a gift to mankind to understand the purposes of God from the beginning to the end. The whole Bible is about the Christ that came to redeem man. however the natural carnal mind, cannot understand the eternal purposes of God and get stuck in the individual stories rather than understand the working of God's Spirit in Time. To understand time is of utmost important, because in the fullness of time, God send forth His SON. The natural mind gets lots in the corridors of time, never understanding God's purposes. Misplacing prophecies causes major confusion and fear in the church. God is not the author of confusion, natural fleshly interpretation of spiritual prophesy is. 2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. We cannot change times or history, we can only understand spiritual principals and apply them in the Spirit. The whole Bible is about The Christ. Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. The first world was destroyed for God did not want His spirit to strive with man. A new world stood out of water, but Noah's revealed his nakedness and his generation ended in Babylon, the raven generation. God called Abraham and the Testimony of Christ Started with this father if faith and 4030 years later, Moses started building the house. Desiring a worldly king this chosen generation rejected God and the Dove left and they ended in Babylon. Refusing to sing God's song their path was set to destruction. When Christ came they received him not, missing their day of visitation, they crucified their messiah and brought the day of vengeance upon themselves. The book of Revelation, the final prophecy in the Bible is the consummation of all that was written down from the beginning to the end. This awesome book is summed up in one verse. Hebrews 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. The old refers to the world of the law, which was a preparation for the body in which God would manifest on the earth. Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering thou would not, but a body hast thou prepared me: The law world was a system of worship that foreshadowed the GOOD things to come and it was a shadow of the heavenlies. They worshipped the system instead the God of the system. Revelation is the hand of God revealed, that was still outstretched after He dealt with all the nations and Israel in Babylon. The book is about; 1. The Christ - the head. Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; 2. The Church - The BODY 3. The adversary- The Dagon , the Beast and the False Prophet. 4. The Removal- The Seals, the Trumpets and the Vials 5. The Kingdom- The Dwelling place. Revelation is not a book to fear, there is a blessing contained for believers. Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation is not to be tampered with private interpretations. Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that hear the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. The Word is explained by the Word and the Spirit and we cannot change history.

The magical, stunning conclusion to the internationally acclaimed Half Bad trilogy, the inspiration for the Netflix series The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself "An enthralling fantasy in the Harry Potter tradition."—Time magazine on Half Bad The Alliance is losing. Their most critical weapon, seventeen-year-old witch Nathan Brynn, has killed fifty-two people, and yet he's no closer to ending the tyrannical, abusive rule of the Council of Witches in England. Nor is Nathan any closer to his personal goal: getting revenge on Annalise, the girl he once loved, before she committed an unthinkable crime. There is an amulet, protected by the extremely powerful witch Ledger, which could be the tool Nathan needs to save himself and the Alliance. But the amulet is not so easily acquired. And lately Nathan has started to suffer from visions: a vision of a golden moment when he dies, and of an endless line of Hunters, impossible to overcome. Gabriel, his closest companion, encourages Nathan to run away with him, to start a peaceful life together. But even Gabriel's love may not be enough to save Nathan from this war, or from the person he has become. Set in modern-day Europe, the final book in the Half Bad trilogy is more than a story about witches. It’s a heart-poundingly visceral look at survival and exploitation, the nature of good and evil, and the risks we take for love. Now streaming on Netflix as The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself.
