"Before my version begins to fade, Let me relieve what happened today. Today was not a lifetime of discrimination and shame, But of celebration as a black man living in Ukraine." - culled from the EPIGRAPH A brave and explorative Artisan Calm exterior but he was born a warrior A Leon not bothered about territory A Leon who hunted alone. And a Leon who hurt alone. With a free prefrontal cortex, he came prepared for learning... And learn he did, as his memory campus would get soiled with complex realities. In my first anatomy tour, all I saw were dry cadavers, But by the end of my tenure, I saw my own fresh blood. No tribal marks but you can tell he started out with an Afro. And in this foreign soil, explorations were his special dish. To-and-fro he evolved... and no, he didn't hail from the safari. From a genial ark but he always kept his wits about him. And when he stepped out, he was like a fresh aphrodisiac. Through his eyes, you could hear all of his favorite tunes. Black vanilla at his core as he had a thing for interfacing. General with a stylus brush, Hankie forever in the back pocket. Like his paws, his heart appears four-chambered, But on closer inspection, you see a fifth chamber a short distance away from the rest. A blind Cub walking in the midst of hyenas, With lesions so deep, they suffocated him where it hurt most. The pages are filled with art and expression, As I relive this once-in-a-lifetime experience... Which shaped me into the man I am today.

EPIGRAPH EvolutionR is a book to celebrate my 33rd Birthday on this planet. I have associated the word ‘R’ with several words such as reversing and rewinding, but essentially it means a point in time when you have to go back as regards your thoughts or where you are. You would learn more about the way I think in the poems, ‘Space’ and ‘Do you speak my language?’ I don’t believe in evolution and this is not a revolution. I have reached a point where I feel like my brain has matured ahead of my time, I want to celebrate my next birthday but I don’t feel like I have to. I am still moving forward but I am no longer revolving. Enjoy This Miracle Mind and a World Beneath What We See!

HIDING! paints a perspective of man's erroneous and unethical relationship with the earth and with one another, and it also provides a blueprint of how things could be better and more appreciated. Among the less controversial topics of discussion include 'MAN', 'WOMAN', 'TRENDS', 'COMPLICATED WORLD", 'RACISM', 'EVOLUTION', and "GOD". There are also some controversial chapters and bits of writing to keep you chewing your straw because of some of my profound insights, Overall, HIDING! has it all; like it says in the EPIGRAPH, ‘HIDING!’ is about what is right, what is wrong, what needs to be improved, and what needs to stop!

It was 1976 when Leon and Michael Spinks first punched their way into America’s living rooms. That year, they became the first brothers to win Olympic gold in the same Games. Shortly thereafter, they became the first brothers to win the heavyweight title: Leon toppled The Greatest, Muhammad Ali; Michael beat the unbeatable Larry Holmes. With a cast of characters that includes Ali, Holmes, Mike Tyson, Gerry Cooney, Dwight Qawi, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad and dozens of friends, relatives, and boxing figures, ONE PUNCH FROM THE PROMISED LAND tells the unlikely story of the Spinks brothers. Their rise from the Pruitt-Igoe housing disaster. Their divergent paths of success. And their relationship with America. The book also uncovers stories never before made public: the big paydays, the high living, the backroom deals. It’s not afraid to tackle an issue rarely discussed: Does the heavyweight title deliver on its promise to young men in the inner city? This is the definitive story of Leon and Michael Spinks. And a cross-examination of heavyweight boxing in 20th century America.
