Samuel A. Bayer was born in Germany in the early 1700s. He married Maria. Their children included Anna, Blasius, Johann Philip, Johannes, Hans, Anna, Johann Heinrich, Andreas, Anna Maria (who died young), Anna Maria, and Maria Barbara.
