This book is written with the sincere conviction that it will convey a message other than the one we have been led to accept about Biblical and other ancient texts. It may change your experience in the way you view life and the concept of God and religion, as well as your relationship with those beliefs. This book is about ancient principles contained in the Bible and many other documents inscribed long ago, such as the Nag Hammadi Library and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Words paint mental pictures that enfold in our minds, and we call this "getting answers." At times, we take these images as the only truth there is, since we can see or imagine it. We base this personally conceived truth on what we learn in life. Should we not ask ourselves: what if all this is based on falsehoods? These mental illustrations - that we call "thoughts" - are founded solely on what we have seen or read. Most of the time, we compare them, and in this fashion, we develop personal beliefs according to our choices. This practice is not specifically reserved for the individual. It spreads throughout our society, when each and every human experiences the same event or feeling, or reads a similar book. As a result, the collective mindset - sometimes called the "over mind" - now generates large-scale belief systems that, in time, we have termed as "religion." Entire nations have been known to bond in the same creed. Even when founded with the best of intentions, these systems tend to bind us as a group, with one mindset going in one direction, while offering no other alternatives. In some respects, this direction may not necessarily be the best or ideal goal toward which we can journey. It does limit us in the centuries-old matter pertaining to God or the God Head, and it affects our individual experience. It also influences what we know about the ancient teachers and prophets of long ago.

2010 Reprint of 1947 Edition. According to Goldsmith, those who find god, who attain even a small measure of understanding, have wealth that neither time nor circumstance can affect. A metaphysical interpretation of the New Testament, which teaches oneness as the only truth, and surrender (or letting go) as the practice that leads to spiritual enlightenment. NTI stresses the importance of willingness, acceptance, gratitude, mind-watching and trust on the path of enlightenment while teaching the reader to let go of unworthiness, fear, guilt and false (or separation-based) thinking. NTI has been described as a love letter and as a loving approach to letting go of the ego. Following on from the strength of A Course in Miracles NTI teaches us how to experience the oneness of God here and now by showing us exactly how to release the obstacles that prevent us from having that experience.

Interpreting Scripture with the Great Tradition

Interpreting Scripture with the Great Tradition

The rise of modernity, especially the European Enlightenment and its aftermath, has negatively impacted the way we understand the nature and interpretation of Christian Scripture. In this introduction to biblical interpretation, Craig Carter evaluates the problems of post-Enlightenment hermeneutics and offers an alternative approach: exegesis in harmony with the Great Tradition. Carter argues for the validity of patristic christological exegesis, showing that we must recover the Nicene theological tradition as the context for contemporary exegesis, and seeks to root both the nature and interpretation of Scripture firmly in trinitarian orthodoxy.

Neville deciphered the Bible in such a way that the truth can be revealed for the first time. Many people who appreciate the old familiar verses of Scripture become disheartened when they try to read the Bible like any other book because they do not realise that the Bible is written in symbolic language. They twist their brains over it for a time before giving up, not realising that all of its characters are personifications of mental rules and functions; that the Bible is psychology rather than history.

Jesus the Christ was an enlightened teacher of consciousness. Like the Buddha and other enlightened beings over the ages, he was born to this world to show us how to master our minds, to teach us how to inwardly align ourselves to a Universal, Infinite, Loving, Creative Intelligence, and to demonstrate how to master the Law of Cause and Effect. "Let's Get Metaphysical" digs deeper into the teachings of Jesus to unearth Divine Truth. Jesus spoke in code, requiring us to turn inward, reflect, and de-code the metaphysical Truth behind his teachings. Like the morning sun, the hidden meaning in Jesus' parables rises and enlightens when you see it with your inner spiritual eyes and listen with your spiritual ears. Jesus was teaching us about love, forgiveness, ego relinquishment, true and false belief systems, mental and physical healing, faith, oneness, humility, mindfulness, the illusion of past and future, commitment, persistence, affirmative prayer, the Law of Attraction, the Law of Circulation, and the Law of Substance. These are the spiritual principles culled from Jesus' teachings and written about in "Let's Get Metaphysical."
