Rachel Chance thinks she’s just visiting a site on the Underground Railroad as part of the inaugural Glen Falls Freedom Festival until her Greyhound Abby alerts her to a dead body. It’s Anthony Jenkins, a man Rachel had seen arguing with her friend just days earlier. Was Jenkins working on a manuscript that would unmask a criminal? Did his sudden marriage lead a greedy family member to kill for a share of an inheritance? Did a past mistake lead a revenge seeker to Glen Falls, Indiana? It soon becomes clear that there is no lack of motives for murder. Rachel’s romantic interest Will Keller is soon the target of a police detective who had once been involved with Rachel. As past collides with present, Will remains in the crosshairs of the persistent detective. When Angelica Jenkins, the estranged wife of Anthony Jenkins, arrives on the scene, the tension builds. The Jenkins family doesn’t trust her and accuses her of only being after the inheritance. Anthony’s brother Arthur cannot contain his temper and public scenes draw attention to the family. Rachel strives to find out more about the family whose arguments provide potential motives for murder. When the seductive Angelica starts to pay attention to Will, Rachel wonders about her motivation. Will’s office is broken into and Angelica appears along with Detective Garrett. A mystery person was searching looking for something, but what? Rachel and Will begin their own investigation but find more questions than answers. Rachel must put aside her questions about her relationship with Will and her hopes of adopting another Greyhound in order to find a killer. Issues from the past come to light and Rachel wonders if a tragedy from the past came back to haunt Anthony Jenkins. Will and Rachel continue to follow leads but realize that any of the suspects could be a murderer. Is the motive greed, jealousy, or revenge? When Rachel receives a mysterious note that threatens her Greyhound, she becomes more determined than ever to discover the truth behind the murder. Rachel and Will uncover one deception after another but realize that a risky plan that puts them in danger may be the only way to discover the truth. Their plan is thwarted when Rachel is captured by a killer. The danger mounts and at the last minute, an unexpected ally comes to Rachel’s aid. Rachel’s Greyhound Abby plays a vital role in a final confrontation. Will it be enough to solve the mystery and bring a killer to justice?

As the European Union moves towards adopting the constitution which will mark its final emergence as a 'United States of Europe', The Great Deception shows how the most ambitious political project of our time has, for more than 50 years, been based on a colossal confidence trick - the systematic concealment from the peoples of Europe of what the aim of this project has always been since its inception in the late 1940s.

Since its publication in 2003, The Great Deception has taken on the role of the Eurosceptics' bible, with the third edition helping to fuel the debate during the 2016 EU Referendum. This fourth edition celebrates the moment when the UK broke away from the European Union, having been extensively re-edited to incorporate newly available archive material, and updated to include the tumultuous events of recent years. The Great Deception, therefore, tells for the first time the inside story of the most audacious political project of modern times, from its intellectual beginnings in the 1920s, when the blueprint for the European Union was first conceived by a British civil servant, right up to the point when the UK resumes its path at as an independent sovereign nation after 47 years of membership of the European project in its various guises. Drawing on a wealth of new evidence and existing sources, scarcely an episode of the story does not emerge in startling new light, from the real reasons why de Gaulle kept Britain out in the 1960s to the fall of Mrs Thatcher and the build-up to the referendum campaign which had its roots in the Maastricht Treaty. The book chillingly shows how Britain's politicians were consistently outplayed in a game the rules of which they never understood. It ends by evaluating the post referendum negotiations and asking whether this is the end of an episode or just a new beginning.

A courageous and compelling account of Tibetan history and the activities of the current Dalai Lama that stand in stark contrast to popular perceptions of a "holy" politician. With an extensive compilation of news stories, documents, personal accounts, and chronologies, a tangle of religion and politics is revealed that plays out in Tibetan exile communities and across the international stage, embodied in the person of the 14th Dalai Lama. The aims of this book are religious--to end an illegal ban on a mainstream Buddhist practice that the Dalai Lama has personally rejected and maligned. However, to get to the heart of this human rights issue and to gain the support of those who can affect its resolution, the book endeavors to follow knotted threads of political ambitions, deception, greed, and betrayal to unravel the popular mythology that surrounds the iconic Dalai Lama of Tibet.

Are you in spiritual darkness, blinded by a denominational stronghold, without even knowing it? That blindness begins for most of us shortly after our physical births. It sneaks up on us and takes hold the moment the rituals and rules of men take the place of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Heritage, tradition, and the spiritual blindness they create, as well as a lack of knowledge caused by our own failings and those of the people we trust, allow us to become victims of Satan's ploys rather than ambassadors for Christ. In this book, you will journey with me through my own Christian life, from my earliest recollections of Jesus through adulthood. It is truly a road of discovery that may very well echo many of your experiences -- experiences that would eventually have led to my own spiritual death-and perhaps yours-and I didn't have a clue it was happening. By God's grace, though, my life took an unexpected turn that cleared the ritualistic roadblocks from my spiritual path. I pray that as you read the pages of this book, these roadblocks will also become visible to you and will be removed so the Holy Spirit can take His rightful place in your life. I must warn you, though. I won't make this journey toward God easy for you. It will, however, be life-changing, and it'll be worth it.
