Some of his children spelled the surname Linderman; most grandchildren spelled the surname Lendermon or Lenderman. Henry D. Lendermon (1788-1845) was a direct descendant in the fourth generation, who moved from North Carolina to Greenville County, South Carolina, later moving to Tennessee and then to Mississippi.
