Leach and Miss Edith Wheeler coming from La-e to Sylvan Pass was going at a high rate of speed and in making a turn near the 20 mile post, ran into a tree. Mr. Odgen received four broken ribs and Miss Wheeler sustained several bruises and a broken jaw caused by the breaking of the windshield.
