Journaling has such an impact on who we are as individuals and how we process emotions. During some really difficult times in my life, I journaled through my feelings by writing poetry and reflective pieces. Sometimes, I built shrines to yesterday and scripted tomorrow. Other times reflected on others and their pain. Doing this helped me remain self-aware and learn how to communicate my thoughts effectively and thoroughly. (Some would say too thoroughly!) This book is a collection of pieces that provide a glimpse into some chapters in my life that I've now closed so I can become what I once thought impossible. As I've learned to live fully in this moment, I've started turning my dreams into accomplishments on a new level I never knew was possible for me. The experiences represented have made an impact on my life but no longer drive who I am and how I respond to life. I stopped remembering my script for tomorrow and instead enjoy the space of time I am occupying so fully that it opens me up to new possibilities. My hope in writing this book is that you will let it speak to those hurt and shattered places within you that feel beyond repair. If you do that, I believe you will find the beginning of your healing, a key to stepping out of your prison, and the first opportunity to truly believe you have a voice others need to hear. Because you do.

SAVAGE NEW WORLD After twenty-first-century America exploded in the chaos of a nuclear nightmare, a raw new landscape emerged, a world where death and dreams clash. Still, the best of the human spirit endures: the hope, the will to survive. But so does the worst: the greed, tyranny, the easy death. In his enduring odyssey across the hostile world called Deathlands, Ryan Cawdor is a warrior no enemy wants to cross. THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY… An earthquake in the Arkansas dust bowls leaves the companions for dead, until they are all reunited except for armorer J. B. Dix. Alive, though with no memory of the past, he is in the uncertain employ of the ironfisted ruler of a vital outpost along the routes that traverse the wastelands. Duma is the biggest, most dangerous ville in all of Deathlands, where jolt, jack, booze and sex are worth more than human life. Stalking Duma and preparing to attack this orgy of firepower is a crazed band of inbred worshippers of Nagasaki...and their unwilling new sec force led by Ryan Cawdor.
