A view of the eons or of the ages When the sovereignties and authorities and powers of the universe were created, they were of spirit only, having no comprehension of righteousness or salvation and, least of all, faith to know God. Their souls were eternal and could not die a final death. Every human being after Adam inherited the same dying state. These are souls of celestial beings having become the souls of humanity. Paul termed this process, both the powerful operation of God and the untraceable riches of Christ (see Eph. 3:7B""12). This was the multifarious wisdom of God acting in accord with the purpose of the eons and made in Christ Jesus our Lord.
